Nothing for me to apply for either, no phone calls, no emails. Has everyone gone on holiday????
Nothing here either, just dead silence. There is a grand total of two admin jobs gone on the job centre website today, both part-time (10 hours and 8 hours a week - is it worth it?). A job that I really want's closing date is tomorrow so I hope I hear something from that - its just around the corner from my house and it would be brilliant having a five minute commute instead of the 1 1/4 hours each way I used to have. Fingers crossed.0 -

id like to g away for a few weeks and forget i have no job but i cant afford to do that as id end up spending money i cant afford to so im aiming to get a job then maybe go away once been in the job a few months0 -
Had to go to the Job centre today as I got a letter saying we need your payslips from your part time work you did during your last JSA claim. They wanted 3 months pay slips. I worked for the same company 11 days in December finished on Christmas Day, claimed JSA from Boxing Day - so they shouldn't even need that one, then I worked 2 days for the same company in February. It's so annoying. I had to write a statement explaining the circumstances.
Had a look for jobs on this one website, nothing yet but found something for my brother as he finishes his job soon! I'm hoping to get some work from my previous employer this week, all depends what day they're filming.0 -
Had an interview this morning which I think went alright. They said decision would take a couple off weeks though
The wait is already killing me and it's only been a couple of hours! :lipsrseal
Just wondering, how long would people leave it? As they said a couple of weeks I was thinking if I hadn't heard by the end of the month?0 -
Pah, just had a phone call telling me that I was a close second to the person they've offered the job to.
At least they called and let me know when they said they would!
I've just started my part time temp work, but have to take time off for another interview, which is both good and bad. I'm just hoping I either get a full time job or any future interviews are on my non-working days!
Good luck to everyone who is waiting to hear from an application/interview and well done to everyone who has had success!
Best wishes,

Hi Livermum, can I ask what you are doing in your new job?0

Yeah i'd leave it til then, will have been the two weeks. Definitely keep chasing though if they don't give you an answer. I'm still waiting to hear from BHS and it's now been 4 weeks and 2 days since my interview. (though I've actually given up ever hearing back)Saved: £1566.53/ £20000 -

Hate when that happens, it's soooo rude! I attended a recruitment day last year for a new hotel opening and they were basically giving everyone informal interviews. The girl I spoke to said she thought I was exactly what they were looking for, blah blah, and would be in touch within 7-10 days. I phoned every so often for about 6 weeks and absolutely nothing, kept getting told decisions hadn't been made! I wouldn't have minded so much if she hadn't given me the indication I was in with a shot!
I wasn't that sure I wanted this job today but now I really do and I'd really have loved some indication (which I know you don't get). They did say to me what would happen next for the successful candidate and so on so I'm taking that as a good indication.0 -

Hi, it went really well thanks! I think that I will really love working there, the people are nice and the job is something that I feel I will be really good at! I was worried about posting because lot's of people are having a bad day today.0
