That doesn't sound right at all, at this time of year £10 is lasting us at least 2 weeks. Who are you with? Might be worth getting it checked out.

It was only installed on Wednesday so I would hope it isn't faulty!

Drea, they are recovering a debt but no payments have been taken yet. They did want £10 a week but called and changed it to £3.50 or something but need to top up a few times for the "signal" to be sent. So that's purely my usage!

Maybe I should turn everything off, including the fridge, for an hour and see what happens.

Just got the dreaded e-mail from ASDA :(

'Don't feel down, as the standard was very high and it was a difficult decision to make'.

Makes me wonder who DID get a job out of the people who were there....the lad who turned up in trainers and a t-shirt but had a brother working there?

I'm not very good at succinct. Why say something in 10 words when 100 will do?

You have to wonder, don't you. You did well to get as far as you did with it, hundreds of people apply for jobs at Asda. Did the email say that you can apply again? I know the rejection I had from Asda said that I could keep applying.

So, I've got my interview tomorrow, at 1.45pm. It's a competency based interview (yuck). Also had a call this morning from someone who found me online and wants to put me forward for a job at an engineering firm.

Mine specifically says I can't apply for anything else for 6 months, as the assessment and interview information they have is kept for that long and theoretically they might contact me about other jobs in the future.

Me neither, had a rejection email from Asda and Thomson today.

Got my 4 week review at the job centre Thursday, joy oh joy. Think they are 6 weeks everywhere else but mine like to do them every 4 weeks.

Taken my CV into the little jewellers I mentioned yesterday. Seems like a small friendly place. They want someone to start end of July just working Saturdays but extra hours in school holidays and Christmas. Really hope I hear from them, she did say she would be letting people know either way if they have an interview or not.

Well, deafening silence on the phone and email front so far today, nothing new to apply for either (a whole two new jobs posted on the busiest recruitment site! I live in the flipping Scottish capital for goodness sake!).

but I did win £50 M&S vouchers :D Actually, that's not strictly true, my cat Dave won them for being so darn photogenic but either way I'll get a treat when they land on my door step :T

Hope everyone who has started their new jobs today are settling in well.

And boo hiss to all those recruiters passing everyone else by.

Well done Dave the cat :D :T

I've seen nothing new to apply for either today. Just had to call and turn down the summer job I was offered due to jury service. Need to hope a job turns up quite soon.

Nothing for me to apply for either, no phone calls, no emails. Has everyone gone on holiday????
