Soooo bored! Been researching the company that I have an interview with tomorrow all afternoon and I'm still not 100% sure what they actually do! I think that I know enough to wing it during my interview though. One good thing is that my interview is in the morning so at least I don't have to wait around all day getting nervous and I can sort my garden out in the afternoon.
Good luck for the interview and hope it stays sunny for your gardening.
    Whatever

To be honest I didn't give it a whole lot of thought and was so fed up with job hunting that I barely even tried at the interview :rotfl: I guess maybe the trick is to seem uninterested? :p

Congrats Drea, hope it goes well for you.

My postponed interview has been cancelled altogether which is a shame, but I have two other interviews coming up.
I'm also starting a part time temp job for the council next week - hopefully I'll be able to juggle the hours to be able to go to interviews still!

I had my voluntary work today which I really enjoyed. I haven't found much to apply for this week either.

    Good luck to everyone!

Well done Drea, some good news at last.

My husband found out today that the company he thought were interviewing other candidates last Wednesday apparently rejected all 3 people who the agency put forward (including my husband) asked for more CVs have rejected those also. The agency say they can't make head or tail of it, the company don't seem to know what they want. Where have we heard this before? It's annoying as husband had to go down to London to be interviewed by the agency, so not without cost as well as taking up headspace.

Some of these ruddy companies just can't bring themselves to make a decision..........

My job interview was a total waste of time there was 13 of us given the same interview time and we each had a 5 minute interview then we had to hang around for 2 hours waiting for everyone to have their interview. We were then told to go home and they will let know next week if we were successful. I am so !!!!ed off.
  • I went out on my bike to a local country park today - I haven't been on it for years so it was a shock to the system. It was a really nice day and I had a really good time away from the job hunting.

But then I got home and I had a letter regarding the interview I went to last week to say I was unsuccessful which has bought me back down to a bump. Although it was the most unorganised interview ever I really thought I was in with a good chance (got through to the last three).

I feel like I've been punished for enjoying myself for a day.
