I missed a call from a job yesterday and so left a message on their voicemail. I called the company this morning and they told me to leave another message on the voicemail and will call me back are they messing me around.

There are so many people looking for work so when you miss their call they just move on to the next person.

Decided to walk to morrisons to get the paper rather than drive there and i decided to have an extra long walk for about 40 minutes so about 2.5 miles then, just thought i should be more pro active
  • Well, my application form is done and in the post. I have put an awful lot of work into it so will be very disappointed if I don't at least get an interview. I have managed to provide examples of all their required competencies and all of the desirables, apart from one.

It's a part time call centre job in the public sector, not exactly what I was wanting but I have a lot of experience of call centre work and beggars can't be choosers. Asda don't want me so let's see if I can get back into customer service.

It's my fortnightly torture session today, deep, unbridled joy. I so hope I find something before they put me on weekly signings, the place is depressing enough without having to go there every week!

Checking my emails and phone every 5 minutes in case I have a missed call about the interview from yesterday, even though they said end of the week.

    Fed up, can you tell?

Go in there with your head held up because you know that you are looking for work. Why are they putting you on weekly signings?

Well last time I signed on (18 months or so ago now) at some point in my claim I was put onto weekly signings for a short period then back to fortnightly. I'm assuming it still works the same way although I could be wrong, still a relevant newbie to all this benefits business!
