I've applied twice - the first time they didn't even bother telling me I hadn't got any further. At least they have managed to tell me this time. I can't say I'm too surprised, I expect they had hundreds apply, and there'll be people with much more recent checkout experience than me, it's 20 years since I did it.

Kymbogs, the first time was early in March, the second time was two weeks ago and that's the one I've had the rejection email for today.

Sat here and added up my outgoings and what I have coming in next month. It has depressed me...

Going to apply for some jobs, been doing my temp work so not been getting a lot of applying done!

Got out my two sheets from the JC to apply for. She failed to mention one of them was for 4 days temp work! What the heck is the point.....

I'm really stressing about this Work Experience thing, I think I am going to explain to her tomorrow that I don't want to take it. Seems stupid, it is in the middle of nowhere and I can only get there by someone else who works there giving me a lift, there could possibly be a job at the end (she didn't sound convincing) and I would have to give up the voluntary work I am doing to be able to do it and it took me 5 months of applying to get there.

Thanks for all your kindness. It is just so hard to keep going through this. The constant rejection is like being repeatedly booted in the same sore place and I can't stand much more of it.

I'm 30 now. I'm out of work and skint, bored, can't afford any sort of life, up to my neck in debt and still needing help from my parents when I should be helping them. I'm still single, have been for 10 years nearly, and so utterly desperately lonely. I just don't know how I've failed so badly in my life. I've asked everyone what it is about me that makes no-one want to hire me, date me, be around me, but no-one can even hazard a guess so there's no way I can put it right. It's just such a mess and I can't see how to improve it, I'm out of ideas.

I don't have anything to be out of bed for honestly.
