Very sorry to hear this. Will you be able to get feedback?
Most of us get days like this, you are not alone
The lady rang me earlier today leaving me a voice message - she said I scored well at the interview but they had been over-run with applications and someone else who had more advice work experience had been offered the role. She said she hoped I didnt beat myself up about it because I did very well, on the day someone else had more background experience.
Still gutted but least it wasn't because I was dreadful on the day, even if I did think the questions they asked were at a bit of a tangent. Not sure where I can go from here, the feedback is pretty much the same each time.

hiya everyone,
Well I finally got a proper answer from LLoyds as to why they withdrew the offer.
Apparently I failed the second credit check, I am on a DMP which I declaired but they decided that I have taken out credit since going on the plan which they disaprove of. Thing is I haven't taken out credit, I have renewed a mobile phone contract and I bought some clothes from a catalogue online, which I paid for with my debit card up front, but the co opened a credit account for me automatically. I don't owe any money to them but Lloyds weren't interested and thats why they withdrew the offer. Annoyed doesn't even start to describe how I feel.0 -
Looby I am not suprised that you're very, very annoyed!
I hate the way that some companies open a credit acccount for you - Next used to do it, I don't if they still do, and Simply Be do it, I remember being very frustated with them, I just wanted to order some stuff and pay for it there and then but no, I had to open a credit account which I didn't want.
Lloyds are very strict with things like that, but I do feel that they should have looked into this further, then they'd have seen you haven't been racking up debts on credit cards! There is nothing better in life than writing on the sole of your slipper with a biro.....0 -

I asked the woman who called if she could see the balance on the account (which is £0) and she said it doesn't matter they take a very dim view of people taking on more credit while on a DMP no matter how small.
I suppose it's an employers market at the moment and they can be as picky as they want because there plenty of people applying all the time.0 -
 Drat, just got an email back for a position I've applied for - forgot to attach my CV to the covering letter.
Well that was a good start! At least they asked me to send it again!
Still haven't heard back from the interview a week and a half ago.
Rang the agency but got through to the recruiter's voicemail.
I've found a few bits and pieces to apply for, so that's been encouraging.
Good luck to everyone for this week!
Don't worry, both jobs where that has happened to me I got (and there was usually some sort of formatting problem) I think being very apologetic for something minor makes you stick in their mind!0 -
Yay I got my online log ins to start my online course tomorrow. Am planning to hammer through it and get it finished by the end of June instead of the end of August. She said most people hammer through it in 6-8 weeks.0

Can anyone help me with the interview process. There are 4 people on the panel and I have to do an I.T test, what will the I.T test consist off and what questions will I be asked. Any help will be appreciated I really need this job. It is only up the road and I can walk there.

Could you ring them up and ask? My guess it will be on common applications such as using internet, excel spreadsheets, possibly word. Is there a job description which could provide any clues?0 -
Thanks Morizot, no indication on application form I am assuming it will just be a typing test, saving opening applications etc. It can't be that difficult surely?
It is for an appointment maker for my local community hospital.0
