I've had a bad couple days after not getting that job. I guess that's what happens when you get your hopes up. I'm going to try to relax today then start fresh tomorrow.

I know what you mean though, my boyfriend sometimes just doesn't quite "get it".

Well bad news for me, Asda and waitrose got beck to me to say I was unsuccessful, I was quite hopeful of the Asda application, nothing else I've applied for that I have to look forward to

again i have no idea why as the email doesnt go into detail

think ill do some spec cv's tomorrow

Ooh I've got an interview for a length contract on a really good show, only problem long days/hours will have to cancel plans, but it'll be good experience. I've got to go before work, so 9am interview!

I'm sort of nervous, but quietly confident as I have the experience. Fingers crossed!!!

Just got an interview lined up for tomorrow which looks like it will be *drum roll* a one stage interview! Preppity prep today full on, one shot at this

Now just trying to get the guts up to phone the recruiter who I fear where it went weird on Thursday. I am scared!!?!!

Good morning!

I am feeling good today, applied for two jobs before half past 8 this morning!

Nearly had a nervous breakdown this morning. Got a text from OH saying they had been called to a meeting this morning and all management were in suits I frantically sorted holiday insurance thinking the worst. Luckily for him, he's okay but a lot of his mates are been made redundant in 3 months. I think that would have pushed me over the edge.

Good Morning,

I haven't done any job hunting over the weekend, I've had really bad toothache but just been the dentist and it's all sorted now (hopefully) so the hunt is back on!

I've got an interview on Friday for a job that I would love to do and would be perfect if it was a little bit closer to home, but I don't really have the option to be fussy! I'm hoping to hear about a job that I had an interview for last week. They have contacted my references so I hope that bodes well, the references should be good.

Busy week for me. Tomorrow I meet the people for my temp work so I'm to go along for half an hour. Then Wed and Thurs I'm to do a couple hours with the person who is going on holiday for the handover then Friday I start properly. Not sure why the need for the half hour tomorrow, bit too late to change their mind about me! Have applied for 8 jobs today and have a huge list for tomorrow too.

Recruiter hating me now:

Won't let me go forward to the second stage I was promised until we have another meeting so 'she is sure about me' and is checking references, which is fine, but she made a fuss about the ex MD ref, when she knew he was an issue from the start.

What is this power tripping? It was me who got through to the second stage?

What can I do? References don't always come through...
