Maybe because of the cuts they're making in the NHS?.

    Yeah more than likely.

    Morning guys.

Today marks 6 months since my last job finished :( I never imagined I would still be here, 6 months on, looking for work. I thought I would have managed to get something, shop work, cleaning, anything.

    Struggling today.

Can I ask what sort of assistant you are looking for? I'm a psychology graduate and you're not too far away from me. They do say if you don't ask you don't get ;)

It would be a scientist I'm afraid, with lab based experience. But you're right, definitely worth an ask!! Hope something comes up for you soon :o

It seems like we've not had much luck this week! Lexi we have to keep positive (however hard that may be!) and believe that we will find our dream jobs today!

I'm the same - I've applied for nothing this week as all the jobs that I can find are for part-time hours - some as low as 8 hours a week and I need 30 hours or more (so I can claim tax credits if necessary).

My mum wants me to go clothes shopping with her today. She said getting out of the house will do me good. Maybe it will except I will have to follow her round shops when I can't afford new clothes. It'll be like being a child again!!

To cap it all the postie's just been with a letter from the charity that I went to for an interview on Monday saying thanks, but no thanks.
  • Hiding from it all today, too tired. This week was so enticing, so close... Yet I am already getting that back to square one feeling as well!

There has been hardly anything for me to apply for all week and today I have already done 4 applications. Also I have just received an email with details of a job that would be sooooo perfect for me. The location, pay and hours are all perfect so will spend the afternoon doing that application and then the next few weeks waiting to hear!
