I have an interview today at the biggest employer I have ever been to for a fantastic job, it kind of blows my mind.
It took me a year to get here. Of course I am probably going to blow it

Morning, I'm so tired. Got two interviews today, neither of them ideal but at least not fake like yesterdays
Best of luck November!Just because you made a mistake doesn't mean you are a mistake.0 -
Morning all. I'm a first time poster. Found the thread yesterday. And have to admit reading on my phone was hurting my eyes so have missed bits.
Been out of work for 2 weeks, and seem to be having the worst luck.... Hahaha
Last week my printer went caput which I could live without... But now my computer has died also.... I have concluded that I can get it fixed if I don't go to my leaving do.... It's next week as there are 4 people from my old team getting made redundant.
There were a fair few jobs advertised last week but I have obviously had issues this week looking... :0(
I have a session booked today to go over my cv which will hopefully be good - as I have no idea what it should look like. I have at least been tailoring them to fit each job role better.
Good luck to all for job hunting, and interviews.:):)

Good luck to you both.
I've just had a rejection email for the data entry job I applied for yesterday.
I don't know what more I can do0 -
Hi all. I'm glad its not just me that's on a downer today! I've been and bought the local paper as its "jobs day" - a complete waste of 38p, there are only a few jobs in and none of them suitable for me. I've not found any vacancies anywhere else to apply for either. I just hope when I go to sign on with a grand total of no jobs applied for they take into account I applied for quite a few last week.
I've got an interview next week for an Admin Assistant post. It was permanent when I applied for it and sounded a really good job but in the email telling me about the interview they say that it is a 12 month fixed term contract. I really don't think I can go through this again in 12 months, its slowing driving me crazy.
Also last night I had the worst night's sleep ever! When I actually was asleep I was having the worst nightmare ever. I can only remember lots of burly men coming to repossess my house and me trying to barricade myself in. I've got a blinding headache now!0 -
Sorry, but time for a rant. I'm completely fed up! Yesterday I had two interviews, still not sure the first one is a "real" job and know for sure that the second one was just a scam. Today I have two interviews and just been investigating the first one, it seems it's cold calling people to try and sell them carpet cleaning for NMW and isn't even full time. The second one is again NMW.
I know I should be happy to be getting interviews but I'm beginning to feel a bit worthless at the moment! I have years admin experience including audio typing, website maintenance, etc and I just can't find anything half decent! Yes, I did six months of sales when I first moved to Cardiff, but it certainly wasn't cold calling and the sales just seems to keep attracting fake or ridiculous jobs. I'm just feeling a bit hopeless at the moment. Where's the chocolate...?Just because you made a mistake doesn't mean you are a mistake.0 -
I'm in the process of filling out a pretty hideous application form...I have to write 250 words on: “Please detail below your knowledge and/or experience of government departments or the NHS and the context in which they operate"
Any thoughts anyone? My mind has just gone blank!!0 -
Woke up feeling a bit negative so decided to scrub the stairs before starting my jobsearch. As I hate housework this makes jobhunting seem a pleasure. Good music on the speakers am off to see what I can apply for today!! Keep your spirits up - it's not the best time to look for jobs as most places seem to have closed for April due to Easter, Royal Wedding, Bank Holidays.
Trying to recruit with all those going would be a nightmare. Good luck to those that have interviews.0
