I forgot to say. I've had an idea that could maybe help us all with our CV's. If we all took out the personal info from our CV, perhaps we could set up a little CV help group, and send our CV's to each other to try and get some tips on how to improve them? I don't know about anyone else but I do wonder if that is what is letting me down, plus it would be good to see other CV's and the style of them to see if I could make mine better.

Maybe a totally rubbish idea. I dreamt about it. I used to have a life!

There was a programme on last night about unemployment in the over 50s. It was Panorama, 4th April. BBC1 I think!

I would be up for that, would be good to compare my CV to others and see if there is anything I could do to make it stand out more.

I woke up in an uncharacteristically positive mood today. No idea why though. Maybe I will find something to apply for, or hear about an interview. Here's hoping. :beer:

Good Morning All! Feel better today than I did yesterday, I think that I'm just really getting disheartened at the lack of progress! Oh well, onwards and upwards. I'm going to go shopping this morning and treat myself to a new interview outfit for my interview on Thursday. I think that a new outfit will improve my confidence, I have been practising my interview questions all weekend so hopefully that will mean I will be super prepared!

Hello, may i join you? Im a newbie!
I have searched for months for a job, applying for job after job, and get very disappointed that the majority of employers dont even feel the need to respond BUT i have two interviews this month!!! So i am trying not to get my hopes up, and will carry on looking just in case!
