Today is the first day I just can't find anything to apply for...
EDIT: Finally found oneJust because you made a mistake doesn't mean you are a mistake.0 -
Yet another temporary admin job is the only thing I have seen so far
Im baffled by this temporary job phenomenon.

Hi,
so i've done my 2 days work and ended up working more hours than expected which is good for the bank balance. There is also the possibility of going back for another day depending on their budget
The work went pretty well, the designer hasn't seen it yet so hopefully that will go ok but the manager was really impressed and is going to pass my cv on. Also got talking to others that work there and gave out a few business cards with a small possibility of more work as they knew of another company looking for someone with my skills.
So it was all really positive and i really enjoyed the pride that comes with working again, even if it was just for a few days.
I would also suggest to others if you can do apply for voluntary or expenses on positions as things can lead on from it and lots more people have my details now for future work opportunities, just hope something comes from them!Save £12K in 2019 #: £0.00 / £10,000 (0%)

Job I was very good for got pulled (internal promotion) and I got a not suitable from something last week which shouldn't bother me really.
Taking day off to have a think.
Edit: Now I have an interview at three tomorrow for international corporate. Bricking it, frankly.0 -

I do see a lot of jobs marked down as temporary but on a long term basis and wonder if they do that to use it as an excuse to see if they think you would be suitable to work there full time. If not they can just say that the work has finished or they can give you the job on a permanent basis. Certainly a job I interviewed for through an agency was like that, started temporary and if they liked you it would turn into a full time position.
Drea, did you find the job centre website full of translator roles today in Cardiff? I got all excited thinking there was a lot of jobs out there today and then got disappointed.

Afternoon all. Welcome to any newbies!
Feel rough today as had a terrible night tossing and turning, worrying about things... stupid brain
Gah!
Out of my mind. Back in five minutes.0 -
I am slowly driving myself round the twist trying to second guess what I am going to get asked on Thursday, and prepare answers.
And the cynic in me is convinced that they already know who they are giving the job to anyway (its with the local council), so interviewing is just a formality they have to adhere to. Im talking myself out of it. Im quite a shy person and interviews just make me feel really inferior and stupid.'If honour were profitable, every man would be honourable' Thomas More

Afternoon.
Nothing here again today so far. Managed to apply for two in the end yesterday though. Feel guilty just sat around not filling in application forms. I've updated my linkedin (really don't understand the site AT ALL) for what that's worth, just don't want to miss out on anything. Still stressing about my finances at the minute. I can't even think about it without wanting to be sick.
Good luck with the interview November!! Fingers crossed it goes well for you.0 -

I'm disgustingly confident but will be feeling this wayYou just have to enjoy it and think what you can gain from it, so asking questions about them might be key here - if the role has been internally given and this is just for show, what could you get from it?
