    Good Morning everyone,

I feel really fed up today. There are virtually no suitable jobs to apply for at the minute. It's so hard because there are no new jobs and yet I will find hours trawling through websites because otherwise I feel like I haven't done enough.

I know exactly what you mean there. I'm the same. There is nothing there to apply for but if I give up for the day I am eaten up with guilt, feeling like I should be doing something.

  • Im in the library, had to print off a few application forms and a job description and person specification for my interview on Thursday to help me prepare some answers in advance.

Its a gorgeous day, the sun shining makes things seem almost bearable.

Good luck with job searching today everyone.

I was loking for jobs when I realised that I'd seen the same advert posted at least 20 times. Online Market Research or something. It clogs the whole thing up coz you have to look through twice as many pages just to find no suitable jobs...

  • I will give us some good news; after an odd morning I just got two phone calls about two dream jobs! With one of them I think the old company website will not matter as it is very analytical.

Starting work on some sort of online presentation is a good idea, I should pick up on that powerpoint brief I was working on before that job disappeared into the ether. It may also contain my excitement and I will get something out of it if no interviews come out of this...

    C'mon!

    Morning Job Hunters ;)

All the best to those with interviews or starts this week and I hope this is a productive day for everyone.

Currently trying to motivate myself with copious amounts of coffee :coffee:

    Happy Monday everyone...

    Good afternoon all :)

Just about to start looking for jobs to apply for. Got my very first rejection through the post today, they did say I could ask for feedback about my application so I think I'll do that :)

Hoping something comes from the cold calling last week!

I wish more employers did that... I often see the standard "we are unable to offer individual feedback" and sometimes I think, but I want to know whhhhhy!
