I'll join in with rejections. I've had two today, one by email and the other in the post.

What a way to end the week.

I'm feeling quite positive today :)

Phoned that auction company and spoke to the Director, he has nothing just now but he'll keep me in mind. Then phoned around a few solicitors because all the higher paid Admin jobs are Legal Secretaries, etc so was asking them if I could volunteer to get some legal industry experience. One of them called me back and said they have a paid role I'd be suitable for and so I have applied for that :)

    Fingers crossed!

Well I did my favour to the agency today and did the days work for them, From what I heard from my fellow agency workers who I was working with, It's a job of maybe 1 maybe 2 days a week, That's totally useless to me so looks like unless they give me full time then I'll have to say no to em

That job I was meant to have started today is now on the job centre website. That's 3 agencies now advertising it. They won't find anyone to fill it though as they aren't allowed to advertise for a male, mature woman or someone who is not very attractive which I was told is ideally who they want.

Phoned up about one job today doing casual work for a nursery. Did see a part time receptionist job for a vets but upon enquiring the hours aren't suitable for me

Rubbish day today. Absolutely nothing to apply for, but I can't complain because it is the first day this week I haven't applied for anything.

It's quite nice in a way that there wasn't anything to apply for. I managed to spend time cleaning, 'wii'ing and have spent the last hour looking for a free/cheap day out for tomorrow.

Got the prison job app to do on Monday now I've got a much better idea of what to put thanks to Triangle!

Anyway I am signing off for the weekend :jHope everybody has a lovely couple of days free of job searching, and here's hoping next week brings positive news.

  • No jobs to apply for, having a nightmare with the DWP regarding my benefits, (I did think it was too good to be true that everything had been processed with no hiccups lol) and clinging to this interview next week as its the only thing on the horizon. I hope more jobs appear in the next few weeks after 1st April.
