Just phoned the company. They are making decisions right now apparently and they should hopefully let me know by this evening. Ohh fingers and everything else is very much crossed.
    Good luck! :j

I had an interview last week Monday and the company said they would contact me by yesterday even though they haven't. I had to wait one month between the phone interview and face to face interview last week. The waiting part is the hardest.

Afternoon all, see we're all still here then....... Looks like we're all needing to let out a little (or loud) scream of frustration. How about a communal scream at 6.00pm......... :rotfl:

Just walked into town (about an hours walk) and did the rounds of the Agencies, all saying the same thing, nothing around at the moment. At least I showed my face. I then walked back home again, just resting my feet now.....

Hope you get some good news later on today Drea.

Stay strong everybody, remember April is the start of the new tax year. New budgets = new jobs (I hope).

Today strangely one after the other started getting phones calls/ voicemails from recruitment agencies, so far 6, ( 2 of them was for permanent roles which I not looking for) have arranged registration with three of them for the rest of the week. One of the agency is meant to be really good being on 'preferred only client lists'. Finally I feel slightly more positive right now, although I have to now complete two set of ms office, typing assessments.

Stew glad to see your back on form!

I won't be able to join the communal scream at 6 because I have to take my daughter to Brownies!

My boyfriend sent me an email with application forms attached for 10 jobs in the local uni. TEN application forms, I think I want the ground to swallow me up... :rotfl:

"Oh, I'll call you before 12" never happened and "I'll get back to you by the end of the day" isn't looking likely either.

I think the communal scream is a great idea. :D It's comforting to know I'm not the only one feeling down at the moment, but I really do wish you guys all the best of luck and it's a shame no one has any good news to share.

Fingers crossed for everyone waiting to hear back from interviews. :)

    Hi all,
I'm also on the down vibe a bit today, not had the call i was meant to get yesterday about 2-4 days work at the end of this week / start of next. I'm a bit annoyed as the first conversation seemed really positive.

I've planned quite a lot into my time though and booked my driving theory test so need to revise for that with any spare time I have.

I know how everyone feels when jobs want you to be able to drive. Especially because i'm used to leaving extra early to get somewhere because of public transport but some companies don't want to know.
I'm proud of myself that in my last job when i was earning regularly i managed to save money so i can use it now to learn. It won't last forever though so will have to be careful with it.
I feel a bit annoyed at myself as well because i'm 25 and still living with parents, really want to get myself into a position to move out but seems so difficult at the moment. If i cant manage to get that freedom at least i can be grateful they're giving me somewhere to live. Hopefully i can get the freedom that comes with driving and help them out once i pass :)

I have recently passed my theory test carrie its not too bad. Have you got one of the CD Rom games? I found it really useful because it really prepares you for what its like in the actual test. I also set it to difficult and found the actual test quite easy after that!
