Did I hear about the interview?
Nope.
I've got the same problem. I went for an interview on Tuesday of last week, they said they would let me know one way or the other at the beginning of this week. Have I hard from them? No of course not and to my way of thinking the beginning of the week has now gone! I'm think I'm going to give them a call tomorrow as I'd sooner know if the answer is no.0 -
I don't know if it will help anybody but there are some jobs listed available on the Mer-cedes-Benz website if you google the name and "careers" if you've got any skills in sales or car servicing, that sort of thing.
Also some going at the O-pen Uni-versity also.

Great interview with recruiter yesterday but today I am fed up.
I have now been in several 'perfect' scenarios with all the right skills and contacts yet here still I bloomin' well am. I am sick of making all the running.
Getting the bike out and going for a nice touristy bike ride round London today. Sod it all!0 -
Amazing how things can change in ten months.
Today was supposed to be one of the most exciting days of my life as I was supposed to fly out to Australia to see the Grand Prix in Melbourne and then travel around Australia for four weeks before coming home. What am I doing instead? Filling out forms and printing out applications to prove to the job centre tomorrow that I really have been looking for work for the past seven months.
Boy, is today going to be depressing.
Good luck all, I hope there is good news on the horizon today for somebody.0 -

I get the reed job email alerts, I've applied for the jobs I can actually do but I keep getting the same jobs sent to me. I'm not really getting anywhere coz I have to be really picky about what I can do. I can only work certain days of the week, can only travel to certain places, can only do certain types of jobs....Savings £8,865.22 £/15,000 Aiming to save enough for a house deposit.0

Well I am wearing a dress today so I would say it's definitely warm enough for shorts :rotfl:
Stew, how awful for you to be missing out on Oz! I would be devestated too. I would try and get the house if I was you today, and try not to dwell.
I have 7 weeks to find work, if I don't I have to cancel my holiday and lose my deposit. It's all very depressing.
I applied for some shop work yesterday. I really struggled writing a cover letter for it because I didn't want to mention my degree. I remember a guy at the job centre telling me a lot of shops won't take on grads because they know as soon as something better comes along they will leave. I couldn't bring myself to totally remove my degree from my cv though!
Meeting with the agency today. Although I'm registered with a few I haven't actually met with any before today. I'm quite nervous, I don't know what to expect, what to wear. Any help with that??0 -
Morning lexi you seem happier today!0
