Our left wing BBC [with evidence]

I've always said it's clear as day that the BBC have a left wing agenda. Ruled by the unions who choose to censor and spin what they like in order to feed the public anti government stories, to the point where they were going to boycott broadcasting the PM's party conference speech (very impartial eh?).
A quick look on the website this morning reveals the TOP WORLD NEWS STORY above CNN's focus on the world flood chaos, and Sky New's breaking story about the evacuation of UK citizens from Tunisia is... Labour win by-election in Oldham by 3500 votes.
This in itself would be enough to convince anyone, however take a look here. Tories also had a by-election victory which has gone completely unreported... sickening leftie propaganda.

Isn't the difference that the Tory win was for a county council seat whereas the Lab win (albeit in what is presumably a Labour stronghold) is for a seat in Parliament?
I agree that the BBC has a left wing bias but basically that reflects the audience and the people that make the programs. I reckon that the average Briton is pretty left wing really, generally seeing the Government as the first place to look to sort things out rather than the last. Most Conservative Governments since 1960 would be considered in favour of Big Government in many parts of the world.0 -

Theres a massive difference between the two by elections.
Theres also a massive difference between CNN and the BBC.
"Labour win a by-election" doesn't really cut it for CNN WORLD news.0 -
I think it's unfair. The BBC generally reports on bye-elections to parliament, and doesn't report on council elections. The BBC is also generally very critical of whatever government is in at the moment. I remember a lot of Labour supporters moaning about the BBC coverage.“The ideas of debtor and creditor as to what constitutes a good time never coincide.”

Yer avin a larf, some pokey council seatI have news for you, the big story last night was the Oldham by-election and how the LibDems would do after their broken promises.
'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0 -
Since when has the BBC EVER reported a local Council by election? Wh cares? It probably won't make better than page 5 of the local paper.
Using SKY as a benchmark of what should be reported does no one any favours - have you ever seen Fox News?0 -

.
In theory a three way marginal, although it appears a lot of Tory votes 'were lent' to the LibDems.'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. I love this site!
Even Alan Partridge (Mr. Norfolk himself) would have difficulty agreeing with you. Your evidence just doesn't support the conclusion.
I doubt most Americans would have even heard of Rochdale - I can't say I'm surprised they aren't leading with this story.0 -

The more bizzar thing is they held the seat anyway? and is a stronghold.
TBF it is news, but I agree with Backlight on this one, not headline.
There 2-3 major stories (tunisia and Brazil) out there and the BBC headline is about Oldham???0 -

That's because there is no evidence.;)
And the premis is incorrect also.
Kind of ironic a blatant right winger misreports something in order to support his/her theory that another organisation is biased. It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0
