How big were the worms? were they big, fat 6 inch earth worms (unlikely in beans to be honest) or were they 2 cm long mm thick worms??

Sorry if this has been asked since page 3...to be honest I got bored by then.

Errm.... Jeff I think you are going slightly off topic now.... Have you clicked on here by mistake instead of lovematch.com? lol just joking !

Mind you this is par for the course on here isn't it? off topic discussions account for 90% of the blurb on here.

What happened in Corrie last night? anyone ? was out in tesco's putting worms in veg....OOPS!
  • could be worse ... they could have been tape worm larvae. Now, they would have made you want to run for the hills.

I think the OP has long gone from this thread :) v funny though!

But seriously people - what about the rights of the poor worms!
Imagine, minding your own business (as a worm) sitting along side some friendly beans. The next moment the packet is torn open and some silly girl is screaming at you, running around the kitchen and hoping up and down.

Its enough to give a worm a nervous breakdown!
  • Maybe the worms were asylum seekers? They should be put up in a 5 star wormery ASAP.

Let me ask you something, if you were afraid of say spiders and then you opened something that you are about to cook to eat only to find spiders crawling out of it, what would your reaction to that be?

good job your other half wasnt around around before the days of supermarkets...and veg in plastic trays.:rotfl:

I opened a packet of Tesco long beans today and although I personally checked every bean there were no worms.

Does anyone have any advise on what to do about this? Should I report them? make a formal complaint?
