Well, it was to be expected!!!!!

Decided not to wait and I posted negative feedback saying the seller was uncommunicative, rude and threatening. His reply to that said

"Total untruth...insulted my Children via your silly calls 3 days after auction"

How sad is that? Actually he has used this line before in response to neg feedback which I pointed out in my reply to his reply (if you see what I mean  )

His negative feedback on me said

"Complete headache. abusive e-mails one bad. hell of a bad person stay well clear"

To which I responded saying 'see sellers previous neg feedback"

Now I'm getting taunting emails from him......

    Altogether a thoroughly unpleasant experience!

Who is this jerk so we can avoid him? update - found him. Given buyers previous comments about late delivery and his abusive tone of replies I would have steered well clear. He doesn't seem to have much luck with the PO.

Also re abusive email. Send an complaint to his email provider. i.e abuse@hotmail or abuse@aol etc.

I also had a very bad experience with an abusive seller. Happily it worked out in the end as he had mis-sold his goods to me (sold as brand new when were broken), I reported him to ebay, they found in my favour and he is now NARU. I am so glad, not just to get my money back but that what is really a horrible threatening person is off ebay (or at least has to start again with 0 feedback - ruining his ebay business).
What did I do at work before I discovered MSE?!

DFD - WAS: a while ago

NOW - not sure, due to boyfriend going back to uni for masters and now pgce. Worth it in the long run!
Proud to be dealing with my debts!

What is to withdraw. You stated he was rude and he was. Let it stand. You have no other negative feedbacks so sellers will see it was just one spiteful seller.

Go on you can do it Stand up for whats right :)

Allexie, i wouldn't withdraw it. I've noticed looking through his feedback that he's had a few withdrawals. !!!!!! him, let the eBaying world know just how rude he is!

Why would you withdraw it? He has made no attempt to contact you to apologise or anything before he applied to have it removed! He obviously thought if he appied to ebay and gave them a sob story then they would just remove it! Refuse to withdraw it! icon13.gifthis geezer is a plonker!!

  • Read through this thread with interest, as the whole issue of leaving neg fb is a difficult one, I have found over the years I've used eBay.

another useful tool for filtering neg/neutral fb is as follows (and you don't have to download anything, either).

    http://www.toolhaus.org/cgi-bin/negs

Have found this quite useful in the past.

I agree that I would have been quite wary of this seller, as he previous fb was dodgy to say the least, however, I'm sure you have learnt from this very unpleaant experience, Allexie. Stand your ground, and don't allow the fb to be withdrawn - he is just bullying you. I have 2 neg fbs from people like this, and they have not affected my selling/buying, as people can see from looking at the fb of the individuals who left neg for me that they are v. dodgy!
