Anyone else taking Lionbridge Exam next week?

Hi , I finally got another email off them with the Tandcs and a link to the T and C agreement exam. Have filled it in and click save but it keeps saying more info needed from me and putting an asterisk by the gmail account box - where I have inputted a correct gmail.com account into that they are alreday sending me emails to?

Anyone else has this problem?

Thank you sparkle. I have tried to download microsoft framework 3.5 too - but still no luck - i cant get it to run. Not sure why.

Have you managed yet blue string soup?

I had the same problem - no matter what I try, I am unable to install Microsoft Framework 3.5. It gets almost to the end of the installation then fails. I've given up now

For me it's a pen and pencil job..........................

If anyone knows what we're doing wrong I'm sure we'd all be very grateful :T

Hi, yes I've managed to now. Think it took a couple of goes though. It's worth persevering, you then just have to remember to click +1 each task!

I'm in information overload with LB at the moment. My head is spinning with all the new stuff! Seem to have spent all morning reading in order to be able to do the tasks in my queue, and not actually started work yet! Sigh... How are you getting on? And to the old hands, please tell me it'll all sink in at some point!

Definitely hang in there - it will sink in, honest !!
I can remember the 1st week being a real slog but it definitely gets much easier when you have had a chance to practise all the different types.

Just to second Fro-ald, it will all sink in and I think actually diving in and getting on with the tasks whilst having the info up in another page is a good way to go about it. Keep referring to make sure you have got the right rating but you will also learn from your mistakes and a good thing is actually resolving and seeing others opinions and reasoning.

I've just finished my third week and can tell you that I already feel so much better about the work!! I feel more comfortable with what I am doing - I rely on the guidelines less and I already know which tasks I like and which ones make me sigh when they appear in the queue!!

Stick with it............it DOES get easier :T

Had my T & C through yesterday. Been on line today to complete the questionaire. Have saved it. Could see no button to submit it so I was wondering if I had to do something else with the form or not

Hi - I thought the same thing and worried a bit about it. You just save it online. You will then be sent the exam stuff. Good luck.
