hi guys,
I have come across this company before year before last I think.
I have finally decided to take the plunge and apply!!! just submitted my application form, so fingers crossed.
Good luck and well done to all who have already passed the exam and are on their way to a great new job:TLBM: April 2009 - honest debt figure: Secured: £0.00!! (paid back april 2017) unsecured: £53117.48 (roughly) back with CCCS starting again:(0 -
On the FAQ, I found the following:
Question Details
I have been removed from the program because my work was not at the Quality standard required, can I reapply?
Answer
Unfortunately, if you are notified that your account is being deactivated for quality reasons then you will not be able to re-apply for the program.
The above refers to being removed if you were an assessor but I haven't found details about being able to re-apply if you were rejected presumably after the application or the exam so I would definitely go for it unless someone else can find a quote somewhere.
Thanks, it was just the application I had completed, not the exam. No idea why it was rejected so it might be worth a try.0 -
Oh dear me!
Just seen the metrics table. I am now worried!! I dont know whats more confusing the table or the tasks! he he!
Can everyone else see the table now? What are new raters thoughts?0 -
Just looked at the metrics, eeeekkk !
Ive only been rating just over a week but cant see how id ever reach some of those task-per-hour requirements ? Particularly the second group in the table. I know youll get quicker with practice, but some just seem impossible. Maybe im just doing too much research but they say its important to understand the query and if youve got to research it first I dont know how you can do the research and the rating in those times.
Any experienced raters want to PM me with any tips ? lol
I'm already not recording the full time in my timesheet i.e. if I stop for any significant period of time to look anything up in the guidance I stop the clock because otherwise Id really get nowhere near them and Id rather bill less time in the first couple of months than get sacked !
Also, Im a bit worried now after reading the flow chart alongside the metrics, which talks about how they time the tasks as sometimes I stop after acquiring a task and then come back to it but it seems they time the task from when you acquire it ! I thought all that mattered was the time you billed, didnt realise it also had to match the time the system would record from acquiring to submitting. Oh dear ! Hope theyll let me off with it being my first week ? Maybe I should email them about it ?Proud to be dealing with my debtsDebt at Light Bulb Moment (January 2011): £21,953Debt at current level (Nov 2013): £4,567.50Debt free wanabee date: Dec 2014 :j0 -
I am also new at the rating and struggling with the time!! I cannot for the life of me see the Metric chart you are referring too...........can anyone kindly point me in the right direction? Am I just being dumb this morning??
Many thanks.0 -
I'm working my way through part 1 as I type -all seems logical and mainly a matter of getting into the mind set they are looking for..........I think !!! (hope

It's okay!! I've found it. To be honest, this is only my second week of rating so I'm just working to the best I can, recording exactly the time I take and the number of tasks I manage. This is all very new and I'm sure it will get easier when we need to refer to the Guidelines less often! I'm hoping so anyway
I think I've been lucky and have received a very mixed bag of tasks so feel I've managed to try most things (some I like, some I hate!!) - the thing I hate most is not knowing how I'm doing???? I'm guessing that if I was very off-track someone would be shouting??

The Rate of Pay will be sent to you (along with the T&Cs etc) if your application is successful. We have to sign a No Disclosure agreement so unfortunately no-one can tell you on here. But it's good! No credit check is made.
Good luck with the application :j0 -
You are not expected to meet the minimum requirements during your first few weeks on the program. Just spend as much time as you can reading through all the guidelines and completing the exercises on the rater hub and you will get quicker. A big learning curve for me was not getting so bogged down with "is this absolutely the right choice?". If you are rating a task for more than 10 - 15 mins you really need to release it to another rater. Just do the best you can and you will get quickerThe only thing we know for sure, is that we know nothing0
