  • I'd agree with Loracan 1, there seems to be loads of work at the moment. I started as an MM assessor in August and think I have only had NRT for 1 or 2 days since then. This week I have been asked if I want to work 25 hours for the next 3 weeks because there is so much work around. I intend to make the most of the hours while they are there! :j

And got my first payment through this week, so all good. So far my experience of working for them has been very positive.

Well done Jena :j. I'm doing the exam this weekend so hopefully will be joining you soon, fingers crossed.

I found out on Weds that I had passed too! :j

Just use the full amount of time you have, any that you're not sure about you can go back to later and keep the guide open to refer to and you should be ok.

I got the rest of the info emails on Thurs (yesterday) and actually started to do some work last night. Not got anything major planned for weekend so hoping to get some hours in whilst the going is good. Bring it on!! :D

I'd like to ask what languages those that have passed are bilingually fluent in?
  • On the rater hub homepage it shows the star rating (if you have one) on the upper right hand side :)

Which role are you doing? No stars for me yet, I am doing MM?
  • I took the exam and they said "I marginally failed" and give me the chance to take it again. I had no answer at the moment. Does anyone knows which grade do you need to pass the exam? I did it for the web content assesor at Argentina and trust me, rates were made by a monkey. Is impossible to rate like them!

I recently passed the exam and have started rating. I have been getting quite a lot of NRT the last couple of days though. Only managed half an hour yesterday.

I was just wondering how raters who have been doing it a while have found it. Is there frequently NRT? I am trying to assess whether I will fairly consistently be able to get in the hours I want. I had ideally wanted to work 2 or 3 hours every morning but the last couple of days I have been checking the website constantly and getting 5 minutes work here and 5 minutes work there which is a little frustrating.

I'm coming up to the end of my contract now, and it is very hit and miss. For the majority of the time I have been with LB this has been my only job so I have been free to work whenever there was work available. Even so, I would say there's only been a couple of months were I have been able to get the full 20 hours a week in every week. There have been many more months where I have averaged between 20 - 40 hours in total.

My tip would be to does as much work as possible when it's available. I've had weeks where it's been NRT all week and then I've managed 7 or 8 hours one day. If you can catch up like that it really helps.

Same here. Trying to figure out exactly when I'll get my termination email. Is it exactly 11 months from the date you passed the exam?
  • I too am coming to the end of my contract, just wondering if I can apply for one of the other roles, anybody know?
