Lionbridge is currently recruiting for Word breaker web content assessor (freelance). I'm already working as Internet Assessor. Does anyone know if it's possible to do both jobs at once?0
-
I am not sure whether or not you can do both jobs, I suspect not, where did you see this advertised, I can't find it on their website, I am an internet assessor but my contract is up in 4 weeks.0

Applied at the beginning of the year and they've just notified me of upcoming internet assessor positions so I'm taking the test this week!
Just a quick question, which has probably been asked already but I'm at work and in a hurry! What do you need to do with regards to tax if you get this job? Do you have to declare it?0 -
Anyone know how long it takes for the approval of timesheets and how long roughly does it take from then to being paid? Thanks.0

Hi. I'm new to MSE but I also applied in April for Internet Assessor role and got fobbed off several times then got told in July that their quota was full... then last week rec'd an email asking if I was still interested. I replied and have today been sent through the agreements and NDA etc! Excited and bit nervous too after reading these comments lol :T
But hey... nothing ventured, nothing gained I suppose so I am def gonna give it a go!!Savings Target 2015 £10/£3000 :rotfl:0 -

You generally get told that your timesheet has been approved two or three days after the end of each month/cycle.
There's a section on the website which gives the exact dates of each payment cycle (and remember we're paid monthly in arrears) and that's usually paid into the bank on the 14th/15th/16th.0 -

You will be self-employed for this position, and should register as self-employed with HMRC. When you do so, you'll be sent information about record-keeping and tax liability.0 -
Hi Wendywhite & Sideshow - It states on this lb recruitment page that you can do more than one role - here.
The specific bit is Q: can i work on more that one project for lb? A: As a freelancer, you are entitled to work on multiple roles for multiple clients.
Sounds like a possible yes but I've not contacted Lionbridge UK to check if this is relevant to uk workers.
On an aside, do you remember that extra exam a while back - did you ever get the additional tasks and payment?0
