I've just started to work for Lionbridge, and I know how many videos I've rated and how many hours, but I don't know if I did well or not. is it normal ?

Your hours will average over the month, ie: you could work 5 one week and then 15 the following week, so as long as you average the minimum hours for the month you will be fine. You cannot work over 20 hours per week unless you have permission from them to do so.

Thanks for the reply. I had emailed Lionbridge but haven't received a response as yet, so your info is really helpful.

I'm finding it ok so far. The guidance is starting to stick in my brain now so I am not having to refer to it quite so often, which is speeding up my times. Because of the paperwork we received I was expecting a lot of adult content, but none so far. Not sure whether I'm relieved or disappoited! :rotfl:

PS. My son is doing ok thanks, back to fracture clinic tomorrow to have his cast changed. Hoping for a quick recovery for him as it's his writing hand and he has his 11+ exams next month. Really bad timing!!

Hi Nic, lol at the adult content comment!! I am actually relieved as kiddies about during the holidays so I have been able to work while they are here, when I first read all that stuff I imagined being sat in a corner with a sheet over my head!
I am finding ok, it will be nice when we eventually get feedback to see if we are doing it correct lol!
Did you attend the webbie the other day? I didnt think it was very helpful at all?

how do you find out about webinairs, would love to attend!
ive not had any adult stuff as yet either which is good as in the same situation, hope the work hours will now be constant and yes feedback would be useful as i have a few judging questions.

Webinars you usually get invited to, try emailing and asking of you can attend as many as possible and they should send you an invite
I have been working for LB for almost 6 months now, and really enjoying it. Work seems to have picked up again this week

Hello,
I applied with Lionbridge on Monday this week and haven't heard anything - is this normal?
The last time I checked the status said in process and I haven't had a decline email. I obviously want to seem keen and interested but not pushy enough to email just yet!!

Managed to lock my password for now so I will check again Monday probably. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
