Good luck to everyone taking the test! Got my stuff today. Is it recommended to read the whole of the general guide through before attempting part 1?
  • Oh well I tried!!!!! Failed Part 1 :-(

Awww sorry to hear that Joe. I've only just started reading the guidelines and I'm doubting whether I'd pass both exams. Too much work for nothing if I don't pass!

PMA (Positive Mental Attitude) and sure you will be fine. Good luck
  • Crikey, just passed part one. I have been reading the guidelines & then taking the exam since 7pm so its been a bit of a long night after work already! Sorry to hear you failed Joe, it was pretty intense wasn't it, I was pleasantly suprised I passed to be honest. Apparently the next part is even harder - eek!
  • Got my exam next week - have to say I'm rather nervous about it all, although hopefully it shouldn't be to bad - just wish they'd done it this week whilst I'm on half term.
  • Hey for those working just wondering if you guys use any sort off gadget to record timings for different ones? If you could give me a pm that would be awesome! I went to time and had forgot which ones I had done, have a plan on how to keep track but if anyone has tips that would be great!

    Cheers!
  • Sammy, do you know roughly how many instruction tasks you had to do at the start? They're wearing me down a bit!

No sorry, i think it's just the luck of the draw. I've been having mainly type 2's lately.

That depends. Personally I read through everything quickly then referred back to it (cntrl + F to search words/ terms) while taking the exams.

Don't waste the chance to work with Lionbridge:eek: It's a legitimate work from home job which pays well above NMW,... trust me, it's worth the effort!!

I use Lionbridge Task Control freeware program. Download here - http://www.lbtaskcontrol.com/downloadfile.asp?type=exe :D

And good luck to SamWSmith and all the others taking the tests right now

I applied this week and today i filled in my questionnaire and sent it off.
What happens next? Also, when you do the exam do you have 5 days from when they send it to you? Or 5 days when you log in?

    Hi Kay

It's 5 days from when they send it. They tend to get sent out on a Wednesday it seems, so you have until Sunday to complete it.

Good luck, I'm working through my exam now, have everything crossed for myself and everyone else!
