CONGRATULATIONS Marksy and Redzhell :T:j:beer:The only thing we know for sure, is that we know nothing0

Hooray, I just got my congratulations e-mail as well, a massive well done everyone who passed today!! :beer:0

I got my congratulations email too! Not been part of this threat yet (was worried I might jinx it!). I'm so happy - thanks to OP /MSE for drawing my attention to this. It's come just at the right time - taking a salary cut at work because of budget cuts. I might have got a bit over excited on facebook and given people the impression I have a new job - as in leaving my old one! Not the case!! Good luck everyone else who has yet to hear.0

Does anyone know if this is an on-going thing or is the programme likely to end in a few months? It would be a shame if this is short-lived.0

You're not tapping any words into search engines, you're evaluating results mainly. I can't say too much because of the NDA.
Re working full time - I do find it hard. The last couple of weeks I've basically done over 50 hours each week  But it will be worth it. You can fit the hours in when you like, including weekends.
You do need to do at least 10 hours per week, through tere is a holiday/ unavailable form.
No there is no spyware or other nasties from Lionbridge, but you will need to make sure your pc is protected in case you visit any websites with nasties on.
Good luck to all the newbies applying :beer:x

:j:j Congratulations to everyone who has just heard that they have passed - and good luck to those who have yet to hear.
I have now been working nearly 4 weeks for them and so far quite enjoy it - It is definitely the most flexible job that I have ever done!
THANK YOU TO ALL WHO TAKE TIME TO POST COMPETITIONS

Hi everyone
Another one who has successfully passed!!!!!
Like "Londongirl" above, I've been following this thread for days - I didn't tell anyone I had applied because I wanted it so badly and was afraid I'd tempt fate!!! I'm recovering from some very major surgery which means I can't "physically" work for another year but I'm not the sort of person who can just sit around doing nothing and this sounds just perfect.
My sincere thanks to everyone on here for all the advice and input - a special thanks to the OP as I'd never heard of it before.

Aww Pink sorry to hear that, but how wonderful that you passed
And to the rest of you
In the UK the max you can work for them is around 11 months, although obviously you can be fired from the programme if you're not performing. There are US raters that have been with them for 2 or more years. First payment takes quite a long time (60 days), but they are legit and above boardThe only thing we know for sure, is that we know nothing0 -

11 months seem short (for me anyway). Can you re-apply when they have another advertising for UK Raters after the 11 months?0
