Boots 75% sale NOT going ahead

I will join you on the market stall with all the toiletries, I have, Daughters has, Hubby has, all the 'Family' spares at the bottom of the boiler cupboard and then don't forget the boxes of stuff in the attic

just went to my local branch to get my starbucks set...and they have sold out should have got it the other day! now giving up waiting for the sale and if it happens then so be it. (did manange to get some joules soap and hand lotion so not all bad )

There were only 3 things I was looking out for - Harajuku Lovers, DKNY Be Delicious and Soap & Glory and in all my local Boots stores the things are either sold out or not on sale so my advantage points aren't going anywhere just yet:)

Updated clues!

I think it's time for a fresh list of clues! So far, we have been told by posters, who have friends that are SAs, that:

1. It's definitely Tuesday 11th - No, it wasn't!

[STRIKE]2. It's definitely Wednesday 12th[/STRIKE] - No it wasn't!

3. It's definitely Monday 17th

4. There definitely won't be a 75% sale this year

5. There definitely will be a 75% sale this year

6. Added - It's definitely Friday 14th

7. Added - It's definitely Tuesday 25th

8. Added - It's definitely Saturday 15th

9. Added - There's a Clearance store in Basildon (????)


So, perhaps in true Miss Marple fashion, we can deduce that


1. Some will have sales on Friday

2. Some will have sales next Monday

3. Some will have sales on Tuesday 25th

4. Some will have a sale, but they don't know when

5. Some won't have a sale, no matter how much stock they have

6. Lots of people know other people who work for Boots as SAs

7. Boots have opened a Clearance store in Basildon, but nobody knows where it is

and finally

Lots of people know lots of people who work for Head Office
