All very sensible sounding. Pretty sure about the housing market as you state it; any thoughts about Edinburgh?0

Crack on then purchy, lets see your predictions
I am sorry, but I am in no way arrogant enough to think that anyone would have the least interest in anything I care to predict.
Nor do I have the type of Socialpathic Personality Disorder that would lead me to start a Narcissistic thread trumpeting myself and my opinions, as if they actually mattered to anyone other than myself.
But each to his own. You crack on, it seems to make you happy so who am I to complain.'In nature, there are neither rewards nor punishments - there are Consequences.'0 -
I think you were a wee bit over-generous in analysing your last year predictions.
In truth, most of what you say is well within the realms of reason and a little.. well....predictable.
I'll call you out on the below though, which I think you have got wrong.
5. IR will increase to more than 1% (possibly a lot more, but more likely a little more).
7. worst case -3% seems optimistic - expect 6-10%
8. While Aberdeen is dependant on oil prices which will likely stay high, the days of Scottish house prices reaching records (based on low volumes) are over - 6-10% drop.
I note also that while you criticise others for expecting a crash round the corner, I can't help but think you are in the same position on gold - yes it'll happen at some point because it needs to.0 -
any thoughts about Edinburgh?
Yes.
Prices will dip over winter, rise again next summer, and no matter what they do geneer would still have been many tens of thousands better off buying years ago.“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.
Belief in myths allows the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.”

Apart from your gold and silver were going to crash 100 guaranteed predictions, you conveniently left that out:rotfl:0 -
I predict you will:
1) Pick information that suites you
2) Ignore information that doesn't suit you
3) Disappear for a while when you are proven overwhelmingly wrong
4) Invent more sock puppet buddies & a new arch nemesis every time the existing ones get banned
5) That you will indeed have to hang your head in shame almost on a month by month basis.
By the way. I pressed the spam button on your self-indulgent threadNot Again0 -
