Perhaps by the time you get back The Grapevine will be up and running again
I hope you have made provsion for the parties your neightbours' cats will be having whilst you are away, esp those with opposible thumbs
I discovered where some of my terrorists were getting in to my garden last night - through a bit of trellis up the front by the garage, then using the side of my house as a convenient run to the back fence, carping on all and sundry on the way. The only thing I had to hand to block the trellis up was an old pane of glass. Seemed to have stopped them for a while. When I went out this morning, they had amassed some climbing gear, shinnyed up the fence and over another bit of trellis. That panel of trellis is now at a 45 degree angle to the fence panel. It's war!!

The tension I went through last weekend, I wonder why we put ourselves through it.
I don't have sky, & can't afford to go to games frequently. I'm a radio supporter in the main.
It is a tense end to the season though. Wild horses won't drag me away.
My team ain't a bunch o' girlies...mrbadexample wrote: »Off 'til Sunday. Everything should be ok, but if we get a blazing couple of days will you water the tubs for me? No, not all of you. One of you will do.
Lemon, you're in charge.
Be back on time MrBE! I'll be off out sunday (weather permitting). Meanwhile, have a good one! Hopefully I'll have something sprouting by then...It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -

It never ceases to amaze me how much things grow when you're away for a whole two days.
Thanks for watering, whoever did that. :T Good job Lemon - all is well.
My dad gave me a pot of chives, a cucumber, and a pepper of some sort, plus three grafted tomatoes:
One each of three varieties, so I now have 11 different tomatoes. I've got to work out how to give them greenhouse space. Most will be outside this year, by the looks. If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0
