My idea of hot and spicy is a korma :rotfl: but my son adds chillies to everything, he even likes to eat them raw, seeds and all
You'll be alarmed, he'll be slightly disappointed, is my best guess.
If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -
I'm trying to set up my motion-detecting water-squirting fox and cat repeller. I need a jubilee clip to hold the hose on, as the pressure keeps blowing it off. I have managed to repel myself.

I'm sorry, I have no way of recording myself, and I don't know how YouTube works.
It was quite funny though - I had the squirty thing on backwards and was stood behind it.

Absolutely! Plus blueprints for said hairbrained scheme, as if it works...mrbadexample wrote: »I'm sorry, I have no way of recording myself, and I don't know how YouTube works.

Sunny spells & showers again today. Had a monitor of the garden last night. One or 2 of the onions look a little worse for wear:eek:. Beetroot appear to have not changed for weeks. Peas are starting to go for it a little, a fair few flowers on them. Beans are reaching the top of the canes. No flowers yet, & imo they need to grow a few more leaves yet. As with everything for me this year, they were a bit late being planted.:o
As my carrots seem to have given up the ghost, I planted some more in tubs, together with a further batch of lettuce. Lets hope I have more luck with these.
All was well enough watered yesterday, so I'll ignore everything for another 24 hours at least.
Bits are falling off my shed, so I printed off the B&Q 15% off voucher for a shed that I've already seen. I'll convert some of the old shed into wood for raised beds next year. It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -

It's not (very) hairbrained, it's a thing what I bought.
£35 in a (thieving) garden catalogue my dad gave me. £19.95 delivered from eBay. :money:lemonjelly wrote: »Bits are falling off my shed, so I printed off the B&Q 15% off voucher for a shed that I've already seen. I'll convert some of the old shed into wood for raised beds next year.
We will need pictures of the new shed.
And the raised beds.

Afraid as well as not knowing how to do pics, I don't have a camera.:o However, this is the one:

Let me test drive it first.

Ok, draw the beds!
And at least you won't have to paint your shed. Plenty of room in there to put your furniture next to your tools, surely?

My wife just got a fright as she sat on the bench in the garden. There was a loud crashing sound (her description) and part of the glass in the auto opening vent was on the floor in the greenhouse in pieces. She has offered to clean the mess up while I go off to bowls. Back later with some pics, I hope.0
