Good that makes me feel better, I've got 10 plus 4 'pretty in purple' ones.........what do the chillis taste like from them?0 -

Ow!
Somehow I've ended up with only one Wenk's Yellow Hot. Not sure how that happened, as I planned to keep at least two. I've got two PinP, one Iranian Round & 6 Lemon Drop. That should do for now.
If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -
Are the PiP ones a hot one?0

Purple!
Not as hot as I'd hoped, to be honest. Beautiful plant but not "fiery hot" as claimed. But then again, I guess that depends on your taste and tolerance. I'd say mine was reasonably high.If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -
Showery with sunny spells here for today & tomorrow, & possibly the rest of the week.
I need to plant another batch of lettuce.
I avoided my garden & greenhouse yesterday for a bowls match. Hopefully when I get home there'll be all sorts of nice suprises for me1It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -

but good news here we have had rain yesterday, all night and most of the day and the plants look so greatful :T:T
you'll be fine. just watch the plants don't dry out or over water test the soil or compost with your finger and don't water the plants when the sun is at it hottest:kisses3: Married 29th September 2012

Firstly, you show it to your tomatoes so they know what to do.
Secondly, you have a couple of choices:
1. Cut the flower off. There is a school of thought that this encourages the plant to produce more flowers to replace it.
2. Leave it - it needs pollinating. Either put it outside for the insects to do it, or get in there with a soft painbrush and have a go yourself. I don't do this because I'm a great big clumsy oaf and I knock the flower off.
Rain won't hurt it, but high winds might flatten it.If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -

My idea of hot and spicy is a korma :rotfl: but my son adds chillies to everything, he even likes to eat them raw, seeds and all :eek:0
