I found a permanent marker pen did perfectly well with 2nd child! of course with 1st I bought and sewed name labels.....

get a rubber stamp made up with your surname, saves hours!

We have used Label Planet for years. The labels are stick on andhave been on School and Guide uniform, camp gear, pencil cases etc. None have ever come off, although they are slightly more expensive but save loads of time. Delivery is free and they usually arrive withing 48 hours.
