    Yes, I suppose it may have been hanging over the plate a little. She didn't say that was the reason though, just that it was a danger to other road users..

    Ok, my post was slightly tongue in cheek, but the moral of the story was that evidence tampering - being the dishonest practice that it is - can work both ways and backfire in an equally dishonest way. Not all coppers are Sam Tyler, you know!
