Morning:)
Did the 10 mile Moonlight walk on Friday night and got round in 3hr15mins. It was really tiring but so worth it. We got home about 4am, so I dozed on the sofa most of yesterday. I feel almost back to normal this morning!
NSD number 7 yesterday and will be number 8 today as I am not going anywhere! I have loads of washing to catch up on after my lazy day yesterday:eek:
I has a spend up in the Tesco kids clothing sale online on friday. Managed to get loads of clothing for DS2/3 and DD for next summer. Also got DD wellingtons for this winter too. Hoping this will arrive sometime next week. This will save me loads of money next year:)
I am keeping my eye of for more bargains on the Grabbit board as I have so many people to buy for at christmas and about 10 birthdays in October:eek:
2nd Purse is looking healthy too! I now have a notebook with the items I 'buy' from myself each day listed in the front, and everything I buy out of my 2nd purse listed in the back. As I 'buy' something it gets crossed off in the back and written on that days list in the front. This makes it much easier to keep track of and what my stock levels are at a glance:)
Only 3 days left until payday:T This week has gone very well financially. I have 'saved' a lot of money and managed to pick up quite a lot of gifts too. I have about £25 left in my grocery purse to last the 3 days until it gets topped up again! This should be manageable. I will be doing a use up day tuesday to make sure I don't waste anything before my new week starts again on Wednesday.
I may make a proper start on school uniform from next week. I have all the trousers sorted, but DD needs a lot of new stuff as she has shot up and is also going into juniors in september. DS2 needs new PE shirts and DS3 needs new jumpers. All need new school shoes but I will get them in August.
I am looking out for a new freezer, and I am hoping to get one before the summer holidays start to stock up on milk and bread for the six weeks I am unable to do proper food shopping. My 2nd purse system will come into its own then as I should have built a healthy stock pile.
I havent had much of a chance to put anything in the sealed pot this week as I have changed the way I do things slightly so there really isn't the spare change to put away. My virtual sealed pot is increasing each week though as I swipe money into that every Wednesday morning.
Off for a bit of a browse now:)November NSD's - 70 -
Monday again!
Off to Tesco this morning. They should have reduced the Father's day stuff so I will be picking up any good bargains to be had:)
Banking done this morning, accounts checked and every penny where it should be!
Grocery challenge total now stands at £193.88 up to yesterday. That leaves £156.12 for the remaining 11 days. That is £14.19 per day which is more than I spend per day so I know I am on target to come in under budget this month:T
I know I am not going to hit 16 NSD's this month. I have been buying quite a lot of deals so I am spending on most days of the week. I will still note them as I go along this month and see how many I do get!
I should hit my target of £600 for the 100 day challenge by the end of this week and there is still over a month to go:j
Two days until payday and I still have money left, which is a bonus. Nothing major planned this week so spends should be quite low.
I will be going through present box at some point today and making a list of everything I have, so that I don't over buy.
Lots of small deliveries arriving this week (hopefully), most of which are presents to be put away. Plus also the clothing orders from Tesco 50% off sale:T
Have a good Monday everyone!November NSD's - 70 -
Morning all.
Payday tomorrow:T
Three deliveries arrived yesterday. One was DD clothing from the Tesco 50% sale, she liked everything I had bought:) The other two were christmas presents I had bought from reading the Amazon £3 thread. Lots of goodies for DD and my niece. I think they will both be very happy come christmas day!
Grocery total spend yesterday: £8.30, taking the total spent to £202.18. £147.82 and 10 days to go!:D
I went through my present box yesterday, I am doing really well for gifts so far. I have nearly finished all of October birthdays (there are 9:eek:), plus I have got all of the teachers presents/cards too:T Plus I have a decent amount of stuff for my christmas gift bags for my female relatives. A successful June so far:)
I managed to buy all of DD logoed school uniform yesterday before the 20% off sale had finished (today) at myschooluniform.com. I had to be cheeky and ask the school office to let us know what 'house' my DD would be in for september, as we weren't supposed to know until July. I appealed to their MS nature and they told me! As usual the cost is huge for uniform as everything has to be logoed (including PE kit and PE bag!) All done now for another year....hopefully!
Aiming for NSD number 9 today as having a day at home! I will not be opening my purse for anything!November NSD's - 70 -
Well done on getting the school to play ball re the house/uniform - it makes such a difference if you can get that sort of discount as a result!
you are doing very well with your organisation - I just couldn't do it for more than about 10 mins:rotfl:

Yay! It's payday!:j
Did I mention I love Wednesday's?:D
£21.97 transferred to Virtual Sealed Pot, £300 ready to be withdrawn later and £75 will be going in my grocery purse.
£6.24 spent out of Grocery Purse yesterday from 'stock', transferred to 2nd Purse. Total Grocery spend so far for June: £208.42 leaving £141.58 with 9 days to go!:T
NSD number 9 now clocked and 7 left to reach target. Won't achieve it this month, but never mind!
Got loads done yesterday. Inspired by Hypno, I spring cleaned DD's bedroom. What a mess:shocked: However I got rid of a small bag of actual rubbish, two bags of recycling and two bags for the charity shop! I don't think she will even notice it has gone:rotfl:
I might even be tempted to tackle DS2&3 bedroom today:eek:
I am going to try and stay away from the shops again today and see if I can manage another NSD:A
Still awaiting my Thorntons order from last week. This is all of my teachers presents so I am really pleased with the cost:T I already have the cards which I picked up really cheap, so hoping that I can get some nice wrapping paper at a good price.
Off to update signature with new totals:D
:wave:November NSD's - 70 -

NSD number 10 for me yesterday:) Planned spends today so won't be a NSD today!
Everything looking ok in my banking world this morning, I have checked all accounts and they are all on track.
Still within target for grocery shopping, will update new total later.
Off into town this morning for various things. Need to go to the bank and pick up a few bits from Iceland.
DS3 is on a school trip today and then tonight is camping in the school grounds. He is really looking forward to it:)
My Thorntons delivery arrived yesterday. Two of the boxes were the wrong ones so I phoned them and they are sending the correct boxes out free of charge and told me to enjoy the other two boxes!:D Don't mind if I do!:rotfl:
Must get on, I have a lot to pack for DS3........November NSD's - 70 -
Morning all:)
Have update grocery spends. Total now £246.05/£350. This leaves £103.95 to last 7 days, so, £14.85 per day. Still looking good to come in under target.
Off to Asda this morning to see what bargains are to be had. Going with a friend so will enjoy the company and the catch up!
The correct Thornton's order arrived yesterday finally. Have now wrapped all teachers presents ready to go. Will get kids to write cards tonight and then I don't have to think about it again until the last day of term:) Not long to go now, especially as we are away for a week from the 9th July. I will also have a busy last few days after we come back as they break up on 21st.
Banking all checked and nothing to report. One payment left this month to 100 Days Challenge, which will be on 28th. This will push me almost to the £600 target, so one payment in July and I will have completed the challenge:D
DS3 will be home around 4pm tonight, tired from his camping trip I expect! Looking forward to seeing him, it was strange with him not here last night!
No deals around at the moment that I am interested in so apart from the Asda spend today, outgoings from my purse should be pretty uneventful!
Looking forward to a relaxing weekend, nothing planned as yet, DS1&2 off to their dads tonights so should be fairly peaceful here. DS3 off to see his dad on Sunday.
Think all of mine will be off next Thursday if the teachers strike goes ahead. If so I shall just work round that so won't be a problem.
Sorted the EHIC cards yesterday. That was the last thing on my checklist for the holiday. Now all that will be left to do will be packing:) Two weeks tomorrow and we fly:D:D:D:T
Off to have a little browse and another cuppa. Have a lovely day all xNovember NSD's - 70 -
