    My thought exactly:rotfl:

    Morning all!

Managed to pick up a nice few bargains at Asda yesterday, I also enjoyed going round a different supermarket for a change:) Stocked up now on peanut butter, ketchup, hot chocolate, sweeteners and cheese strings:D Also bought some new hair grips and washable markers for DD.

Aiming for NSD 11 today. It is yukky outside and I am not planning on going anywhere!

Total grocery spend from stocks yesterday was £7.04, taking total up to £253.09. Leaving £96.91 for the remaining 6 days @ £16.15 per day:T

Quidco total is now quite healthy, all purchases have tracked, just waiting for them to pay and then pay me:)

Still keeping my eye out for bargains on the Grabbit board. I have managed to pick up some really good ones during June and aim to carry on with this. I have a list of everything that I need and add to it as I think of things, then when I come across a bargain I cross it off my list. I also have a wish list too:D

Lots of the deals I really don't need and am very good at not buying pointless things but I get very happy once something on my list comes up!

OOh Tesco have just sent me an email for free delivery on my next shop, so will be using that to full advantage (providing they have good deals on:rotfl:)

I actually really like this way of shopping. I am pretty much only buying food on offer now, which means I don't pay full price for anything! More money leftover for other things then!:D

    Off for a browse now........

NSD 11 yesterday:) Only a few more days left of the month and not enough for me to complete the challenge so I will be bowing out now as I know I will be spending the rest of the days left of the month. 11 days is pretty good though!

All my boys are at their dad's today, so just me and DD. Not quite sure what we will be doing yet.

Total grocery spend from stock £6.65 taking total spend for June to £252.70. This leaves £97.30 to last 5 days @ £19.46 per day.:T

I need to sit down with my christmas/birthday list and figure out exactly who is getting what from the stuff I have bought this month. Then I can work out what is left to buy.

Last payment to 100 day challenge will be going out on Tuesday of £54. This will push the total to £584.28/£600 and still over a month left:j I will be making the final payment for this challenge on 8th July, the day before I go on holiday!:D

I have now transferred all saving into the bank, to my savings account. I will be now adding to the account online rather than cash into a pot at home, as having larger amounts of cash makes me feel slightly nervous! I will be continuing to save but all into one virtual pot rather than lots of little pots at home.

    Off to update my signature!

    Monday again!

    Morning all.

Not much to report today, bank accounts looking like they should. Haven't updated yesterday's grocery spends yet, will do that later.

Today I will be doing just housework! The house always looks like a bomb has hit after having the kids at home for the weekend.

I have sports day for DS3 this week, but other than that, nothing major planned. I need to start making a list of everything to pack for our holiday as it is now less than two weeks away! I also need to book our train tickets to get up to Gatwick.

    Have a great day everyone!

    morning:)

Payment made to credit card this morning of £54, taking the total of the 100 day challenge to £584.28:T Almost there, although the next payment won't be until 8th July.

I still haven't updated grocery spends, naughty me, will do that this morning:o

Three direct debits out of bank this morning, all as expected. Just one more payment in to account and two more direct debits out and June's banking is finished.

I will have spent most of what I have had in this month, but I have a hell of a lot to show for it:

-Some fantastic bargains and deals have been had this month and my christmas box is looking very healthy.

-Managed to pick up a lot of my kids presents thanks to the Grabbit board and HUKD at a fraction of the price I had expected to pay:D

-I have had deals on school uniform meaning I have also paid much less for something that is a huge expense in my annual budget.

-Picked up next summers clothes for three of my children in the Tesco 50% off sale.

There have been so many more deals I have taken advantage off this month, which will in the long term save me money.

The 2nd purse system is working well for me, I have a nice stock of food now, which should help going into the school holidays.

I also have a little pot of savings for emergencies, nothing major but I will be adding to it during July.

The debt figure is also coming down nicely:) I shall continue with this until it is paid off.

It is great to close a month on such a good note:D

    Have a fab day everyone!

    Morning:)

Grocery spends for last 3 days were:

    £35.08

Total spends for June now stand at £287.78. So £62.22 left to last 2 days. I will be coming in well under budget for the month:D

Off to the vets this morning, hoping it doesn't cost me too much money! Other than that, won't be buying much today! I think I need some fruit and veg.

Off to DS3 sports day this afternoon, fingers crossed the rain stays away.

    Morning:) Beautiful day here again!

Spent £33.75 at vets yesterday. Ouch!

Banking all done and everything is as should be.

DS1 babysat for me last night, didn't go anywhere special just a nice browse around Tesco and Matalan uninterrupted. It is only the 2nd time he has babysat so I am only going out for about an hour or so and building him up from there. I think he likes the extra money too!

Kids all off school today. DS1 finished college yesterday until September and the others are off because of the teachers strike. Will be a day in today doing housework!

Starting to make plans on paper for my dining room. I will be repainting after we come back from holiday and finishing the beading around the wooden flooring. Then I will be starting to save some money for the furniture. I know exactly what I want so that part is easy. I have a few ideas about how I am going to get this money together so hopefully by the end of the year this room will be finished:) Finally!

I will be trying to make July a low spend month. As I have done so well on the present shopping for birthdays and christmas so far, I will be only buying the minimum needed next month, so that I can chuck more into savings. I will still be keeping my eye out for bargains, but only if I will be giving them as a gift for christmas. Anything else will have to wait as I want to crack on with the dining room.

Have a lovely day everyone and enjoy the sunshine:)

    Morning

Another £19.62 to add to grocery total for June for the last two days.

This brings the final total to £307.40!

This is £42.60 under budget for June:D

I will be aiming for the same for July.

Countdown to our holiday begins now as we are off in 9 days:) Still a few bits left to sort out and a couple of items to buy. I will be winding our fridge supplies down over the next week and placing a grocery order to arrive the day we get back from holiday from Tesco as I have a free delivery voucher.

Savings will start in earnest as soon as we return.

I will be planning a stay at home as much as possible week next week and packing and doing housework. Will be trying to spend as little as possible!

Off to Iceland this morning for a few bits for the weekend, shouldn't be spending a lot in there, and I also need petrol.

A day at home today. DD isn't very well so she will be missing taking part in the carnival later today for the Beavers:( She needs to rest despite her protests as I don't want her to still be unwell when we go on holiday!

Housework seems to be the only option then!

Just a little more browsing before I start:)

    Morning:)

Lots to get done this week. Today another day at home getting things ready for the holiday. Will start going through kids clothes this morning and sorting them out to put into suitcases. Trying to keep on top of washing this week!

    Have a lovely day all
