OMG it looks even worse seeing it written like that!

Thanks MoneyPenny - hope I'll be able to get it down more in gradual steps!

Today - 1 can @ work & will be finished a 1L bottle by bedtime! (1L on offer!! - however, think this may help as I'll still be drinking a bottle/day but only 1/2 as much)!

It's small steps Lilylass, you're moving towards your goal well done :T:T:T

Way to Go Proud of ya:T:T:T

Sorry I wasn't around yesterday, had a manic day but I'm so proud of you all doing so well.

I did really well too. Only had one glass, so well within my 'quota'

Going to buy 3 x 2l bottles today that will be my lot until the following week's shopping

    Keep the fizz away folks
  • I did quite well yesterday- 4 mini cans, which is only 600ml (ie less than 2 normal cans) :j

I now have bottles, so it's not quite so easy to cut back- more self-control required :p. Have to admit to being a bit headachey for the past 3 days, but then have had a hectic first week back at school, so a bit tired and stressy as well :o.

  • Only 1 can today, but so enjoyed it :j so thats 2/6 for the week so far, only thing is the weekend, I can usually go mad and guzzle two packs of 8 easily, so will only buy 6 cans this evening, and save 2 for next week (I hope!).

Well done everyone and good luck for the next week, think of all the cavities we are saving.......

Are you a teacher too Susie? There seems to be loads of teachers on MSE

    Not just cavities, money, complexions...
  • Got off to a bad start at work today and was into Can 1 before 10am (my team mates know how my day's going by the time I open the 1st one!).

But...... made that one last till just before lunch, came back from a jaunt down the street, went into my bottom drawer and ...... it'd been the last one! OMG I nearly had to go out again but had blackcurrent diluting juice instead (not the same). :D

1L bottle open and disappearing far too quickly!

Have been trying fizzy water too (I just can't drink still water without diluting juice) and it's helping a bit - might be the fizz!

Well done everyone so far and it's the weekend and much temptation will be around ..... we can do it ......

I am indeed!! Not sure what that says about teachers . I teach maths, so I really don't have much of an excuse to be bad at budgeting!! :rotfl:

Well, so much for only drinking coke at the weekend! Though I suppose Friday is almost the weekend :D.

The three of us have drunk most of a 2 litre bottle tonight with tea. It's all DS2's fault...he fancied some, so of course we all had to have some!! He's hurt his foot and is a bit down that he might miss his Scotland U-18's selection match next weekend. I do hope it eases up over the weekend. He has been working so hard to keep fit over the holidays, with all the snow causing matches to be cancelled and affecting training.

Have a great weekend everyone...and be strong, keep an eye on the caffeine consumption!!!

Be kind to yourself Lily, you're still drinking less than you would if you weren't monitoring it. :)
