Try 12 hour shifts, 4 days on, 2days off, then 4 nights on.

I think this was the only good thing about having the timetable I did have. It also meant that I wasn't just in for one hour that day. It was either at least 3 hours in the morning, 5 in the afternoon or a full day. That made it so much easier.
I think it helps if you live in at university- travel isn't an issue then. I wish my course would make our days more compact (wishful thinking I know
) because there are a couple of days with 9-10am and 4-5pm. I just try to do my uni work in those hours.
I also love how at 18 I wouldn't even think to take in a flask and buy 3 coffees throughout the day, now I love my flask  although cool it isn't.0 -

Which Uni are you at? Is it Strathy? I would NOT be happy if I was doing a degree at a Uni that sent me to another institution for classes, particularly a college!Come ride with me, through the veins of history...

No i'm at caley, i actually like going down to the college cause like i said i went there for 2 years. Gives me a chance to see all my old lecturers, plus the bus stops right outside the college for Tuesdays when i only have Spanish for an hour

She has replied saying bring your own lunch with you, and try to get away from the class early!
Which i don't think is very fair, as it means i am always going to have to choose weather to leave Spanish early, missing some of that class, or show up to the 1pm class later, again missing some of that class. Either way every week i am going to miss some class time.
I think the only fair way to do it is 1 week i leave Spanish early, the follwing week i stay in Spanish and show up a bit late to the 1pm class, and keep working like that really.0 -
Well if you like the set up and it's your own choice what are you moaning about?littlepinkstars44 wrote: »No i'm at caley, i actually like going down to the college cause like i said i went there for 2 years. Because i don't feel that i should have to choose between classes, thats like saying 1 class is more important that the other. And i am still going to miss class time every week, and i am not the kind of person that can get away with missing class time without it affecting my coursework. I'm not a great student at the best of times, and i feel that this is going to set me back this semester.0
