Flower - Every little helps! I did one last night too, I really like their surveys actually as I tend to keep getting the ones asking me what I think about things happening in the news. Quite fun!

Wendz - My problem with the Library is I'll go in and grab lots of books because they're there, and freeee! And then end up taking most of them back unread :o It's better now I'm living here as it's only a 5 minute wander there from the Office, and only 10 minutes from my house. So I can just get one at a time! It's like I go into panic borrowing mode.

OH's payday today so we've got lots of lovely pennies on both meters again. We're hardly using any gas with having the heating off, the hot water still uses gas but only clicks on when we turn on a hot water tap rather than blasting the water constantly. We put the full £50 like normal on it this month though, but I think that'll be it for a good number of months. I've got a little tub ready for putting the £50 a month into for when Winter rolls back around though.

Logged back onto DooYoo last night and update my profile. My last review was written over a year ago. Yikes! Quite a while. Got something in my bag for reviewing today if I get the chance. They've changed all the points though haven't they? Looks like my little land of makeup reviews have taken a hit point wise. Oh well, see how I get on. I've got a grand total of 100 points in my accout though. Crazy ;) Will scout Toluna a little this afternoon too.

I think so. I know I went on after a couple months after I stopped reviewing and donated everything in there (only about 6,000 points I think) to their charity thing so I haven't lost a lot point wise. I think whatever's in there now is just odd rates? 70 of those points basically 'die' in 30 days though, how nice :D

Sounds like you are doing good with all the utilities. I am very happy we don't need the heating on now and the lights on for less time.

The shopping was a bit of a hit with a £10 overspend due to OH chucking things in the trolley. Plus we stocked up on toilet rolls, washing up liquid and bought a pretty big joint on offer for next Sunday's roast.

Suppose the good news is we've got plenty in, in the way of meat and dry bits for making meals. Stocked up on some of the junkie things like crisps to, tbf they're just for OH so I got myself a couple fruity jelly pots I've been itching to buy since we moved in. A little tiddled at how much we spent. But the overspend does account for the rolls and washing up liquid we'll be safe for the next couple months on. Plus meat prices really are going up, I'm wondering how long we'll be able to buy the 'good' meat for. Starting to put a couple veggie meals into the mix now anyways more for health reasons, but OH hates the idea of it. Guess we'll figure it out when the time comes.

Put a couple items on eBay this morning with the free listings so it won't hurt if nothing sells. Just a dress I've never worn and feel bad for as it's quite pretty and some untouched toiletries which I just can't see myself getting around to using anytime soon. Also put some old dvds on Amazon, and arranged to do a carboot with my Mum in a couple weeks. OH is off into the city tomorrow to go too the Bank so he's sorting some games out tonight to take to CEX so I'm going to clear out my old phone and see how much they'll give for it. Still have the charger and box so might be worth it!

Went to see my family yesterday and went out with my Mum. Ended up at this pet shop not far away that sell puppies, turtles and meerkats. So sweet! Finally got some real weeds for the fish and they look a lot happier, although Barry seems to be loving Nathan a little too much. And you can't really tell a fish off can you? He just looks at me as vacantly as always.

Tried Primark again with my voucher. It's cursing me now I've got pennies that have to be spent in there! There wasn't a single thing in there I like last week, and this week there was plenty I'd have loved to bag up but the queue was going all around the shop making it about 3x longer than normal. No thank you! Popped to Lush to get my Nan something sweet for Mother Day. Took me ages to find something that wasn't gimmicky. I think I upset the sales woman when I said 'It's for my Gran, she's never had anything from Lush before and I don't want her bath ruined' woops!

So today I just need to clean up, then go drop my Nan her present and card then swing by my Parents for tea and drop her presents. It's Wrestlemania tonight which goes on until 4am, ugh. Why do I think watching things live is a good idea? My Brother's oh so lovely Girlfriend is tagging along too. She was running her mouth yesterday moaning on at why we hadn't got such and such in and how I should go out and buy her *insert list of foods* finally snapped and told her to go buy it her bloody self. Ugh. I feel pretty bad, not for her feelings but my Brother :( I just don't get why he puts up with her. Hate to be a gossip and I doubt anyone here cares much anyways but last week she didn't speak to him for 3 days because he didn't text her and ask if she wanted to shower at my parents. What! It's not the first time either, my Brother is a lovely guy and I don't know why he puts up with it. Me and OH are both hoping she doesn't come. I think I'm at the end of my rope with her now though, if she's horrible as always tonight something will end up being said.

Aww cinny what a shame about your brother and his girllfriend! Sometimes though I think families are just brought up so differently that they thing what they are doing is nothing out of the ordinary. OH and I for example were brought up very differntly and I sometimes feel uncomfortable in his families' house because I don't know the "rules" and I'm more fussy with food etc I'm not saying its an excuse for her, I mean maybe she is just rude and not reading the situation (I would never demand things, maybe not eat things that I don't like or buy my own though..) and your brother needs to talk to her about what's appropriate and whats not.

I think your shopping trip sounds ok though, stocking up on toilet rolls etc is a good plan if they're on offer :) Also, I don't think vegeterian meals are that bad. I know OH for example will happily eat jacket potato and beans and cheese and not miss meat. Ditto pasta bake or risotto or even hand made vege pizzas? I think if you have flavourful dishes and yummy things, the meat might not be missed so much (but i dont know) just maybe dont mention that it is especially "vegeterian" ;)

All of my family have spoken to my Brother about her over the years, but nothing ever changes. I don't want to bring it up again, I know I'd feel awful when I was living with my family if no one liked OH. Which is why I kept trying, but now she's started being more obviously mean to OH I'm not willing to go along with it anymore. She was brought up a lot differently to my family, but then all his past girlfriends were too and they slotted in fine :undecided I just don't know what to do. And it's annoying because I like just about everybody, and she's ruining that! :o

On a happier note, my Nan really liked her bathbomb! But on a not so good note, I kind of got suckered into having Sunday Dinner with them. Knowing full well I'm having Sunday Dinner with my Parents later on :o Ahh, I'm such a piggly wig!

Hope you enjoyed both your roast dinners!

Your brothers gf sounds like a nightmare, people don't realise when they are in love though...

    Enjoy watching the wrestling.

Was Wrestlemania good Cinny?! OH's got it downloading now, I'm sure he'll show me the best bits! I didn't realise that The Rock was back, we don't have Sky so totally out of the loop and OH's friend keeps him filled in but we were away when it all happened, then OH's friend was away so just found out the weekend before this one! We spent ages on You Tube catching up with his return! :)

Your brother's GF really does sound like a PITA! I'm sure he'll eventually figure it out, but unfortunately you have to leave people to discover it in their own time. I'm so thankful that I love my brother's fiancee like a sister, don't know what I'd do if I didn't like her!
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

Roast dinners = yum, not had one for ages.

Your nan's bathbomb reminding me, OH got his mum some stuff from Lush at Christmas, she thought the little coloured puffy packaging was sweets and tried to eat one, poor woman.
