Cinny I know I've said it before but instead of slice the pic, why don't you get back into dooyoo? I've got well back into it and you can get amazon vouchers for presents etc or if you wait longer you can get cash. It's the same sort of thing as STP but you can listen to the music you like and I bet with your new house you will have loads of things to write about?? Just an idea.
Also.. congrats for starting your pension!! I started one really recently in the summer and I pay about £35 into it (but I work full time) per month but at the moment I just think - every little helps!!
Are you still looking for another job sort of then? OH is job hunting (but for a new location, he's not jobless at the moment) and is finding it a bit hard to get going0 -
Happy belated birthday Cinny, glad you had a good one.
And boo to thieves Birdie, what is it with people who think it's ok to nick other people's belongings - get a job and buy you're own stuff!0 -
Tell me about time going quickly, will be April in 3 days and then baby is due eek!
Well done on the pension, i really need to sort one out.
Are there any shops that are open in evenings near you? I used to work in m and s in the evenings when i was at uni.0 -
Tink - I might give DooYoo another go, doesn't take much effort writing a review and it'll give me something to do after work if no one wants to play and OH's at work. Kind of totally forget about DooYoo, oh dear! Thanks
Had a goosey goosey gander in the notice windows yesterday but there isn't anything. Like I said, it isn't urgent for me to get a second job, infact I think OH might be abit insulted if I did, but it's good to keep an eye open.
We don't have anything in town fancy like M&S or Blockbuster. We've got a Co-op and the bookies in the way of chain places, but bar them it's all family shops. Which is lovely, but might be the reason why there aren't any jobs going. It's like here, positions are filled by friends or family. Hey ho!
Got my library card, and a couple books. Saving pennies and there's the plus that if I get back into DooYoo I can review it, I make a couple pennies from it. Oh yeah! Also joined RiSi, so I'll get some of my old books on there tonight and see what happens.
Went to see my Grandparents last night and my Grandma has offered to buy the £50 M&S vouchers off us as she does some of her shop there and we don't even have a clue where the nearest M&S is :rotfl: So will take them to her next Tuesday, which'll mean we've got a free shop next week, or something like that!
OH is home at about 5ish today so we're having fajitas for tea, yum! Although my phone kept trying put fanjita, not so yum _pale_0 -

Good news about your grandparents buying the M&S vouchers off you!
Have you ever been on Toluna Cinny? It pays in vouchers rather than cash, but you can get them Love2Shop vouchers which can be used in quite a lot of places. I usually average around £30 worth of vouchers per month, which are now being saved to use in MothercareBiggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
I am on Toluna, although I'm very all or nothing with it! I really do need to kick my bum into gear with extra penny making, £30 a month in vouchers (well, if I get let onto that many surveys!) would more than help at Christmas. There isn't that much to do in the Office today, so I might try and clear everything this morning then spend the afternoon doing a couple. Bit cheeky, but I was only going to read one of my Birthday books otherwise.0

£30 a month in vouchers is really good Flower! I think I signed up to it ages ago but never really got into it. Maybe I should!
Good news about selling the M&S voucher Cinny, very smart thinking!
Fajitas for tea sounds yummy... not fanjitas though! :rotfl: I've got friends coming round tomorrow for tea and I'm going to make nachos as we've got loads of tortilla chips left over from the party and I'm trying to get rid of them! And I lurve nachos!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
Wasn't smart thinking on my half, was telling my Nan how we'd finally got them and then asked where on earth M&S is and she offered to take them off our hands. Very kind of her though, like she said it doesn't really change anything. We've still got our free £50, it just isn't chained to one store :j
Yumm, nachos! OH made me a way OTT plate of them on my birthday  I really shouldn't think about food. I couldn't be bothered to make dinner this morning so just grabbed a tub of pineapple chunks that were in the fridge :rotfl: Clever me. No idea why I didn't just make my little jam sandwich like normal, I had more than enough time to spare as OH woke me up 30 minutes earlier than normal as he's back in the city today and always makes out theres way more traffic than there is *rollseyes*0 -
Just done my first survey on Quidco - thanks Cinny
Its all a few more pennies to be paying off the debts each month!

I am going to join the library when I am off work, will be nice to have some books to read.
That is good of your Grandparents to buy the vouchers off you!
I used to do Toluna a lot but havent done any in ages, might have to get back into it though. The extra survey vouchers etc will come in useful.0
