Aw poor Percy, he looks so cute and perfectly trainable at only 1 yr old.

Brilliant news on the new tv, we've been hankering after one but mines still works even if it is a huge backed on i.e. so not flatscreen! We'll get one for the new house will make it more exciting.

Anyways Miss, you were meant to be starting/restarting your thread! I be waiting :D

    Donedid! :D

That seems like a good deal on the telly, is it a 3D one or something?

Aw that's a shame about Percy, but obviously you both need to agree. I hope your family do change their mind! Couldn't your sister take him with her?

That sounds like a lovely night in! I love doing that kind of thing too. Me and OH spend the entire Sunday in bed last week watching films (Social Network & Scott Pilgrim. Was Role Models good?) and eating Minstrels and it was bliss :D

Hope your sister's court thing went alright, that's gotta be horribly stressful. She's lucky to have you supporting her! My sister is being hideous at the moment and it's hard work. She has got rid of another useless boyfriend, just to jump into bed with another one, who's 15 years older than her so we're gonna see how that pans out. To be fair, he seems a lot nicer than the others, but it still creeps me out (she looks very young and he doesn't). It also doesn't change the fact that she is being a complete bi-atch at the moment either! :p Sorry for the rant! :o

Did you get any STP done?

I'll be honest, I didn't! Got home, decided to have a little relax time. Then came over feeling really nauseous so just snuggled up on the sofa all night. Couldn't even bring myself to cook OH his tea when he got in, so felt pretty mean. But got a good nights sleep, had a bath this morning and just taking it easy so I'm feeling a lot better. Will get some STP done today, OH isn't home until late again so plenty of time!

Cleaned the house, washed down the upstairs window and sorted out all our paperwork. Everything's neat and where it should be now, and I've got a little bag of stuff to take to work for shredding on Monday. Also did the meal plan starting Saturday, and put the shopping list together. All ready!

Got tea all ready to just put in the oven later on. We're having toad in the hole with wedges tonight. Really cheap meal, I doubt everything in it would even top £2 for us both.

Not much else to report today :D Need to go on my banking in a bit to move money across for bill payments tomorrow.

And rant all you like Zig! If it makes you feel a little better, the Rockstar my Sister mentions on her blog is 21 years older than her. I get what you mean though, he seems as lovely as too but pictures of them together really look like she's on a day out with her 'cool uncle' :o And Role Models is good, was the first time OH's seen it and he was giggling like a school girl :D

I enjoy a night in front of the tv too. I do like going out every now and then but is also nice to stay in and snuggle up.

Poor Percy, hope they make the right decision about him.

Poor Percy indeed Wendz :( I have no doubt they'll do the right thing, but it still seems unfair to me. They haven't mentioned it since, so who knows what's going on!

And sorry Flower and Dinah! I mean to mention it on the thread, but get caught up in replying and forget. But you know now, saves me a job :D

Got up later today, about 9:30. Bed changed, washing in, pots washed, place vacuumed and mopped where possible. All neatly done :D

Toad in the hole was lovely last night, first time I've made yorkshires yet alone with sausages in it! But they came out perfect, even if I do say so myself. Tonight is burgers, wedges and veg. Shopping tomorrow, looking forward to trying out all the new recipes next week.

Payday todaaay! £110 extra :j So I've sent £180 to OHs account towards the telly, and will have another £125 next week to put towards it too. Quite proud I've managed to make up just under half the costs myself.

Invited my parents to tea on Sunday. My first attempt at roast chicken with all the trimmings! Then we'll be able to use the left over meat for OHs sandwiches the next week.

Off to make myself some dinner, tuna sandwiches today I think! Then I need to write up the budget for March so OH knows what to send across Monday.

Yay for payday and for putting some money towards TV! Sounds like you are doing a fab job if getting it paid for already.

Good luck with the roast chicken, is hard work but well worth it.

You feeling any better? Can't stand feeling sick. I was randomly sick the other night after eating dinner. Very strange.

Ah right! That's quite the age gap! :p There is a big age gap between my uncle and auntie so I'm not judging, just trying to get my head round it! Cool, we'll watch it then. :)

    That's great! :T

I LOVE toad in the hole, never made it before though. I did make a parsnip and maple syrup cake though which was lovely. I keep meaning to make some mars bar cookies for my brother too.

Ooh good luck cooking a roast for the family - pressure's on! :D You sound like a great cook so I'm sure it'll be fab.

That's odd about the sickness Zig, hope you're alright! I'm feeling much better after a couple of lazy days.

I'm quietly confident about the roast. The recipe is completely step by step, if I follow it to the letter I'm hoping it shouldn't go wrong. It has what I've decided to call 'pigs in bubblewrap' which is an onion, cored with half a sausage stuff in the middle then roast. Never heard of that one before!

OHs replacement card came in the post today, so we'll be ordering the telly tomorrow night most likely. Unless OH gets giddy when he gets home and orders it then. Excitinggg!

Got a reply from sky to say they've issued the vouchers, and they'll be here in 28 days. Weird they said 'issued' surely if they'd already sent them liked promised it would be a matter of chasing them up?! I don't know, hopefully OH will be okay with his old work shoes until they get here.

Had my brother and zus over tonight, asked them about Percy and they've decided to keep him. Yes! Kind of hoped they'd have too much heart to adopt him out.
