Halight - Hope the twins enjoyed nursery!
Adelight - Look after yourself and feel better soon.
Bramble - Glad you enjoyed your first day.
Moiliere - Thinking of you and your BIL.
Hugs to the rest of you not feeling too good.

Woke up tired this morning and have had bouts of grumpiness! If only I could sleep a full night I think I would feel better. Going to a meeting later regarding the refurbishment of village hall, it's a long drawn out process but hopefully we will win!

Had some of the lovely spicy parsnip soup for lunch which was very warming, not sure what to have for tea - not hungry at the moment but will be later, as always!

Have received my new headphones today, very swish. The old ones were falling apart and left bits of black plastic all over the place.

    Take care all. XX

    Evening all:j:j

Well first of all many thanks to everyone who has sent there best for the twins today.:)

Iv spoken to my mom who says that they got on great. They had there names on stickers so everyone wll know who they are. All the kids were these for there first few weeks. Im thinking our two wll have to ware them for a bit longer as they are very muvh a like. Even i get it wrong sometime:D
Anyway they then went straight off in Twin one went off into a room to play with the dolls and kichen stuff, Twin two went off to play in another room with some dolls houses.

They Never looked back after they said good buy.
My mom has picked them up and they were pleased to see her, as always. The staff told my mom that they had been great. Twin one and two have told my mom that they have played with dolls, dolls houses. They have done some dressing up.
That rea;ly is all i know at the moment. my mom is going to fill me and my wife in whenshe brings them back.
So a good day for them:T:T Which im pleased about. im also glad taht they went off in differnt rooms to each other as it will be good for them to make some of there own friends and to delovep more on there own. i dont wont it to be just always them, If you know what i mean. Id like them to go off away from each other but to always know that the other one is there if they are needed...

Beef stir fry tonight for dinner.
I hope that you all have had a good day,

    Enjoy your evening everyone:j:j

Bitsy and Halight - glad the children enjoyed pre-school:)
Bramble - good to hear you enjoyed your first day.:)

Busy day at work today but productive. It's been raining most of the day but better than the snow which I am a bit fed up off. Resting now, a days work is all that my back will allow me to do. DH is still off with the chest infection. Lovely tea today - jacket potatoes, beans and cheese, very tasty.

Well best get on with my planning - got an assembly to do:eek:

    Have a lovely evening everyone.

Another one who strarted low carbing today

DH is in the kennel for walking onto the cream rug with dirty shoes on    and has left a huge mark so he has that job to do tomorrow.
To top that DD decided to do herself and her bro a pizza but left the polystyrene base on the bottom which is now welded to my baking tray.

Good luck to your DD JackieO for tomorrow. That booking fee is daylight robbery.

Weather here has taken a turn for the worse, it wasn't too bad earlier but now the wind is beginning to blow and it is pouring down. The calm of the snow seems to have left for now.

    Take care. XX
  • Hi all, do you mind if I share something with you all? I have done something really really silly. Was having a major clearout last week after DS went back to school. He has a scruffy old rucksack he uses when his Nanna looks after him and he got a shiny new one for Christmas. So I threw the old one out. Now I did have a quick glance inside first but didnt properly look in the front pocket, where 5 of his DS games were safely zipped up. They weren't in their cases and I just didnt see them.

The binmen have been and the games are gone. I could cry. Looking on ebay its probably going to cost me around £10 each to replace them.

He is naturally very upset - and I have promised I will replace them all. He has been very good about it and says there is no hurry, he has got other games after all.

I could really do without spending this sort of money right now. Havent told OH, because I feel really stupid.

    Evening everyone

A late one from me again. Spent the morning in bed as didn't sleep very well last night and have felt so ill all day. Had a banging headache and feel like I have pulled a muscle in my neck/shoulder. Tried deep heat but not eased any. Today is day 5 of not smoking, just hope the reason I feel unwell is due to my body getting rid of toxins.

No os today apart from 1 load washing. Dh made dinner. I did take buttons for a walk though, was hoping fresh air would clear my head.

Halight & bitsy - glad the children enjoyed preschool.
Adelight - hope you feel better soon.
Bramble - your first day sounds very positive.
Jackieo - sending positive vibes for your dd tomorrow. I can't believe you have been charged that much for a booking fee, can you not complain to their head office, it wasn't your fault the game was called off.
Mioliere - thinking of you and your family.

Hugs to anyone that needs/wants one. Take care.

Glad to hear that the 1st days went well, both for the small peeps and the bigger one :D

JackieO that booking fee  Good luck for your DD tomorrow

Work busy as usual, trying to go with my NY resolution that I cant change it, only the way I react to it, so have just got my head down and done what I can.

On the home front, not actually done a lot, place nice and tidy, have sorted washing out, hung on airer, will be ready to iron tomorrow morning, I am much better at doing stuff in the morning, get home and I just want to slob. OH not home tonight so just did a jacket potato for my tea, tuna mayo, cooked 2 potatoes so will take that and the rest of the tuna for my lunch tomorrow.

hope you have all had a good day, hugs and good wishes to everyone xxx
