Afternoon all
I am working this evening 16.00 - 01.00 I do hate shifts  but thats another story.. last one tonight then 2 days off and back to earlies.
Currently cooking lunch before I go.. Chicken, new pots and veg all roasting in garlic & thyme. Will chuck some tomatoes in and cover with cheese when nearly finished. DH will be impressed all he'll have to do is re heat his dinner when he gets home.
My new DAB radio arrived this morning (was an xmas prezzie but had some issues so they sent a new one) Listening to Radio 4 .. I have just discovered it and am hooked (Should I love this much at the age of 29).... My mum laughed when I told her.. she said im tuning into her :rotfl:
Anyway better get a few jobs done before I go to work

bitsy - no chance of that
my body seems to think it doesnt need sleep
gave everywhere a quick hoover. ds is sat watching thomas. doesnt seem to have energy for much else. tried him with a bit of soup. had a couple of mouthfuls but that was it. wondering whats wrong with him as usually he's really active and climbing everywhere. noticed a couple of spots on his tummy so possibly a virus or something. def not chickenpox. he's had it badly once already and its not a poxy sort of spot..."I have learnt that even when I have pains, I don't have to be one""You may not control all the events that happen to you, but you can decide not to be reduced by them.”Maya Angelou0 -
Afternoon ladies,
I hope the twins enjoy Pre-school
Bitsy glad you DD enjoyed pre-school, it eases your mind no end when they enjoy themselves.
A day of studying today, so another NSD I am feeling quite proud of myself because I have kept up with fly lady and I have been keeping a spending diary which makes me feel really good. I hope I keep it up.
Dinner tonight is Ham bubble and eggs. The ham is leftover from christmas, the bubble has been frozen so a nice easy dinner for me tonight. We are going to take the kids and the pooch out this afternoon as a bit of family bonding time as OH has been working all weekend.
Tomorrow I am having another study day and I am up the school for target setting tomorrow.
Have a good day everyone.

Hi everyone,
I only seem to be able to post once or twice a week - work's really busy atm. I'm winding down in my head because I finish work at the end of March and I can't wait. It's not that I dislike my job, sometimes it's a struggle with my health issues so I'll be glad not to have to force myself in when I'm feeling ropey.
I'm still playing with my new kitchenaid. The cheese bread I made came out well and I made Yorkshire pudding batter for the first time ever (I know, it's a waste to do in the mixer but I wanted to, so there). I don't eat it so I've always bought them when we've had beef, which isn't often. They didn't rise hugely but DH, DS and GF all said they tasted good.
DS and GF brought their washing over because their machine has broken - 5 loads of it. My poor machine will be going next.
JackieO good luck for your dD tomorrow.
Halight i hope the twins had a good time and well done to Bitsy's DD, it makes such a difference when they go in happily.0 -
Evening all
Well work wasn't as bad as I expected, my 2 colleagues were ok with what we had done to the officeWe tackled the kitchen today, it was horrid but it's now sparkling
. We also started to tackle our stores which is huge!! We chucked out loads of old crap; have a pile for the charity shop; huge pile of recycling; and have put things in piles for when they go back in the room. It's a huge task but needs to be done. The boys left it to us girls and the new student to sort out, but that was ok cos they would never have been as ruthless as us! :rotfl:
I'm knackered now though. So glad I have leftovers for tea, and for lunch again tomorrow! I unloaded the DW and put some bits in the recycling when I got home (after a much needed shower!).
Off to cwtch in on sofa with cuppa and magazine
Have a fab evening all

DD did really well at pre school. Came out all smiles and gave me a big hug. Such a change to DS who hated going and took a long time to settle there.
Chicken and chorizo stew for tea. Cooking a mahoosive chicken at the moment that I will pull apart later. Going to look at some of the Jamie Oliver 30 min recipes, watch it the other day and it looked yummy.
No housework yet so need to get my butt into gear.

Afternoon all,
DD was up again in the night with a high temp, took her to docs this morning, she has tonsillitis, so has a course of anti b's and no school for a couple of days. Hopefully she'll be back at school on Wed. Work are ok with me, I have some carers leave I can take.
