Hm, never thought of that. Another MSE'r and me were talking about doing it, time to actually read the Groupon etc emails again
.
I did one of those a while ago. And then promptly spent about £250 on makeup :rotfl:

Thanks Castle.

I'm back from another weekend away and it was fun. I spent a lot on food, mmm, and a few too many trips to the cash machine. I'll need to assess the damage later.Pots: House £6966/£7100, Rainy day Complete, [STRIKE]Sunny day £0/£700[/STRIKE], IVF £2523/£2523, Car up-keep £135/£135, New car £5000/£5000, Holiday £1000/£1000, MFW #16 £2077/£3120

Oh I'm not crazy on makeup. In fact I never wear it. Which is why it was so fatal for me - I had nothing so I decided to buy the lot in one hit. As is very typical I've only used the foundation.Mini Challenge - Halve 2nd Mortgage by Year EndStarting: £10,000 Currently £8,142.62£3,142.62 to go!0

In the last week I:
- Went away for the weekend with friends.
- Went for a meal for our anniversary (I drank quite a bit).
- Went for a meal for my dads birthday.
- Took Mr P out for a coffee.
I feel like I've spent quite A LOT in the last week.
This week I read an article about how much energy people waste by using different electrical appliances to cook food at once like the oven, hob and microwave. So tonight I tried cooking peas in the oven with the other food. I put them in a lidded glass bowl and I'm pleased to say they tasted good. I'll be doing that again.Pots: House £6966/£7100, Rainy day Complete, [STRIKE]Sunny day £0/£700[/STRIKE], IVF £2523/£2523, Car up-keep £135/£135, New car £5000/£5000, Holiday £1000/£1000, MFW #16 £2077/£3120

Do you think anyone would notice if Mr P does not wear a tux when he's supposed to?

Tonight we cooked both the potatoes and veg in the steamer to, again, cut energy costs.
This weekend was good. We spent a few hours in the garden. The front now looks nice and tidy. Then today we went for a walk on the beach. Stopped off at the supermarket on the way home to top up the bits we needed. Back home we picked about 40 apples off the tree and I pulled about 20 onions from the veg patch. I've left the onions out to dry. All in all a good weekend with lots of no-spend activities.Pots: House £6966/£7100, Rainy day Complete, [STRIKE]Sunny day £0/£700[/STRIKE], IVF £2523/£2523, Car up-keep £135/£135, New car £5000/£5000, Holiday £1000/£1000, MFW #16 £2077/£3120
