I bought a pack of wrapping paper in Tesco yesterday - 2 sheets and 2 tags. Opened it up, 1 sheet and 1 tag . Sticker on back says 1 sheet & 1 tag. Silly really, but it's the principle so I will be complaining. Mind you, empty pack is in the kitchen and that would involve moving so maybe tomorrow.........:o
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

  • Oh dear... I contemplated a letter to M&S about their revolting "new recipe" cocktail sausages... just not worth it! But hotel... worth it.

GG, that's bad. You may have chose a different product if you knew how many sheets/tags were in it.

I should have complained to the hotel we stayed in last month. With the sound of the lift and other machinery, then the number of small flashing lights in the room, I could not sleep and started to get hysterical. Which is not like me. In the end I asked reception for a fan to drown out all other noise and we covered every light.

Today £300 pinged over to my monthly saver; taking me closer to my goal.

Only 4 more days and a new budget. Only having £5 left in MY budget for most of the month has been hard. I keep forgetting I won £20 M&S vouchers in a quiz, and received £20 of Boots vouchers as a belated birthday present.

A new week and time to check if there are new adverts on AdPoints. There are more Ads! Got 30 points so far.

Complaint written. They sent me a questionnaire. I filled it in, identified the problem, my writing was calm and not emotional and even identified a solution. Let's hope they action it.

Today's spends: £2 spent on sell by food, Christmas work meal paid and £5 to charity.

I'm going Christmas shopping on Friday. As I have £0 to spend this month; I hope any purchases will show on December's statement.

Hi, the interview is in a couple of weeks. I have to also do a presentation. The presenting bit does not bother me as I have done A LOT and I have gave (given?) site tours for 1.5 hours with no notes. It's only 5 minutes so it's not a lot of time cover anything substantially. At the moment I am not sure what topic to choose or how to structure it.

Yesterday I bought a new jacket for the interview and had to buy more fuel. Hopefully they will show up in Decembers statements otherwise this November will be over budget.

I'm am going to check the mortgage account....

    Happy December everyone.
