Great to hear others are emailing customer services. I did this morning but have not heard anything as yet. Lots of us moaning down at the school gates and stating we will not be spending in boots this year to build up our points. Need to either get rid of 3 for 2 before Christmas and set proper prices and then do a 50% sale like NEXT do. This works really well for them. Mr Boots needs to watch out as customers really getting upset.

I too will double check tomorrow and probably every day after that as i have developed a deep distrust of anyone connected to boots

I went in my local boots and its jammed packed with items, i cant see it selling there was NO1 looking at the sale items. I asked my Friendly SA and she said that she doesn't think its going to go to 75% and the will end up giving to charity..... MR BOOTS wouldn't want to loose that much profit. I was really sad and counted the Fern cotton hat boxes and there was 14 lol. There was loads fearne and GOK, Ted Baker, Strictly, Sex in the city. There was so much stuff the had it on the end of ALL the isles as-well!! I was going to take some pics and upload them but didnt think anyone would want to see them? I PERSONALLY THINK THIS IS MY OWN PERSONAL OPINION THAT THERE WILL BE A 75% SALE AS THERE IS LOADS IN MY STORE!!

I really want them to have a 75% sale every year, If theres not one this i will be doing ALL my shopping elsewhere, And my HUGE christmas shopping else where too! DONT UPSET US MR BOOTS!!:mad::mad::mad:

Updated clues!

I think it's time for a fresh list of clues! So far, we have been told by posters, who have friends that are SAs, that:

[STRIKE]1. It's definitely Tuesday 11th [/STRIKE]- No, it wasn't!

2. It's definitely Wednesday 12th - No it wasn't!

3. It's definitely Monday 17th

4. There definitely won't be a 75% sale this year

5. There definitely will be a 75% sale this year

6. Added - It's definitely Friday 14th

7. Added - It's definitely Tuesday 25th

8. Added - It's definitely Saturday 15th

9. Added - There's a Clearance store in Basildon (????)


So, perhaps in true Miss Marple fashion, we can deduce that


1. Some will have sales on Friday

2. Some will have sales next Monday

3. Some will have sales on Tuesday 25th

4. Some will have a sale, but they don't know when

5. Some won't have a sale, no matter how much stock they have

6. Lots of people know other people who work for Boots as SAs

7. Boots have opened a Clearance store in Basildon, but nobody knows where it is

and finally

Lots of people know lots of people who work for Head Office

i asked in southampton this morning, and the sa tutted and rolled her eyes (in a friendly kind of way) and said they keep asking the manager and he just says he doesn't know if they are going to do it this year, there are no plans to atm. she said theres loads of things that she wants so shes keeping her eye on them. (i assume she ment she would put them away if they started selling out!)
I kept picking things up then putting them back just on principle!


I am strong. i will not buy at 50% off!!!!

next years presents are usually wrapped, labelled, boxed and safely deposited in my loft by now. I have developed a victim persona, i want something and boots won't give it to me. Never Ever will i shop at boots if they dont reduce to 75% soon. All the ladies iv'e spoken to feel the same.

Me too will not be shopping in Boots next year if the sale does not happen.
