When the Boots 75% off sale went live online the website allways changed at midnight to a white holding page with (last year anyway) a picture of a very tantastic couple skiing on there. :rotfl:

It stayed this way until about 4am - you couldn't buy anthing or even access their website to view products, but you knew that 75% off was on it's way !

As others have said this was all part of the fun and there was a real die hard crew who sat up all night posting some very funny comments on here :rotfl:

When it finally went live the website kept crashing and it was really difficult to actually place an order but at least you knew for sure that it would definately be on when you went into stores.

I seem to remember that the orange couple are no more!!! I'm sure there was a new image on the holding page last year!

Thanks notsorichandnotsofamous ! I really hope the sale is on tomorrow (I have morning off especially for this). I don't know why I'm getting so excited as Reading as barely anything in both Broad Street and Oracle (unless they stock up items today ?) Anyone got any information about Maidenhead or Slough branches ? If there is a good selection of stock I might be tempted to drive up to these stores. Thanks !

i'm sure there is not quiet the stock levels this year- as web sale not on u would think more- but most stores have hardly any mens bit left. I think as lots of non bargains hunters buying up 50% stock as they feeling the pinch ? us Boots 75%off fans are having to share this year1!:mad:

I am hoping it is tomorrow, decided my present stash needs a top-up! But sods law, had a delivery Monday which unexpectedly only had half the items, despite a promise to ship the rest yesterday it went out today so will have to wait in again tomorrow for City Link, who came at 1pm yesterday!! And I had plans to get out bright and early if the sale was on...
