Apparently City Link always try to deliver on day one and one set of neighbours will be home around that time (although whether they answer the door is another matter, they are very strange, once had a man delivering a freezer knock on our door in desperation! They must have known when it was coming lol And we do accept parcels for them all the time). If not they will come the next working day.

So think I will risk going out if the sale is on! I have a double points coupon I have been saving for the sale too.

I think it's because there is still a section under "offers" called "sale" and you could (not sure if you still can) view a lot of the gift sets that had been 50% off but are now out of stock.

People had commented that if they'd fininshed the online sale then why bother still having them on the website ? They were xmas stock so it's not like their going to get them back in at a later date.

Although who know's with Boots !

I don't see a problem with the staff being allowed to shop 1st - after putting up with being open 7 days a week, late nights and only closed on Christmas day, why should they then have to watch everyone else comes along and gets all the bargains while they have to work! (by the time they get a lunch break its all gone!) I find it bad enough that family Christmas's gets ruined because people insist on shopping on Boxing Day!!!

Generally speaking, people can't be bothered reading a few pages of posts and so ask the same questions over and over. There comes a point when people get sick of replying with the same answers and so they stop

I myself posted 3 times about the reason behind the boots.com closure at the beginning of the month, as people kept asking or speculating about the reason, before becoming fed-up and not replying again.

I dont know why you are getting at me :cool:

I merely pointed out that the facebook page that the newbie was asking us all to look at was blatently there own page and all it was for was listing what Boots branches have the sale on and when, so I answered that if and when its on it will be across the board.

Sorry I dont understand your above reply to a observation of mine about advertising a facebook page
