(by the time they get a lunch break its all gone!) I find it bad enough that family Christmas's gets ruined because people insist on shopping on Boxing Day!!!0

Just phoned my local Boots in Falkirk and asked about 75% off sale. The sales assistant told me that yes there is a sale starting tomorrow but couldn`t say if it was 75% off and that they open at usual time of 8.30am.0

First of all I DO NOT mind staff getting first hand bargain.
But the argument point about their entitlement to bargains because they work hard do not stand because it is their jobs ! Is us customers that keep them in their job, if there's no customers no point of them being there in the first place, no?
Boots hq should have a quota of bargains for their staff , made it absolutely clear to them and the public that that's the perks of working for Boots. Me as a customer will feel not only boots is a good company, but also i wun be eyeballing/disdained by sa while I m getting the bargains
so customers keep retail staff in there jobs (fair point).....so no customers no point of retail staff (fair point).....which equals no 75% sale cos there is no staff to serve the customers and no sale....there is no argument point.....unless you make one.....and if you can honestly be against staff havin the perks of the 75% sale....well my mind boggles.....0 -

I think that shops should stay closed for Christmas and boxing day and at least one more day and the sales should start in January (as in the good old days). There should also be no internet shopping on christmas day either. If shops are open people will shop !!
well the retail company i work for closed on christmas and boxing day.....but you should have seen the look of horror on customers faces when we told them that we were actually closed for two days...but they soon changed when we told them that we heard asda and t;s were open.....so i tend to disagree....that it is the greedy shops....0 -
