Boots 75% off sale - possible date

I am new to this site but have been following it to find out if and when this Boots sale will take place. I have not been able to get other years due to work commitments. My question is to any Boots staff - If once the sale commences do you get first pick at what is left, ie before the shop opens to the public ? I went to my local store yesterday and there is lots of half price stock left. No one seems to be buying anything, in fact no one was even looking. All waiting for the 75% sale no doubt.

hi all- i've been a huge lover of this forum for about 3 years and i,ve finally decided to jump in and join u all! I love the boots 75% off and have been lucky enough to be there on opening day and filled my goody stash! I really hope it is this Wed as have hubby,s birthday at weekend and this is ideal to get him lots of toiletries in girts sets to open!:jwithout the 75% off it,s gonna cost me dear as i love to spoil him as crap time to have birthday (everyone skint after xmas) i.m sure he thinks i spend loads !!!

As i've been reading the forum for a while i must say how the stock levels at boots seem so very different this year- in the past i've got the large box lux crackers and kids toys but not seen much of either ( luckily don,t need either) in any of the stores i've visited, and as for people saying lots in other stores ,the amount of shelves left stocked seem much lower this year - or is this just me?

Now i've started - theres no stopping me!! I love the Boots 75% for getting bits for my hubby and 2 sons(teenages) birthdays such as smellies so they have lots to open - boys only want money- not very exciting for me and hubby wants diy tools- even less exciting! i used to really go mad and stock up for birthdays( kids don't get the party invites now older) and the next xmas but over last couple of years have really cut back on present buying , but still hope to have afew bits to fill stockings (never too old) for boys and save myself a fortune on weekly buying of hair gel/ wax men's deo , shower gel and male grooming products!! please Mr Boots - make this Weds a happy day for all us MSE's :j

I don't work for them, but I assume they do. Last year I popped into Boots just before they closed the night before the sale. I wanted to make sure it was worth me coming into town the next day. There were four large sets (no7, Ruby&M, S&G, Gok) I wanted and they had at least 8-10 of each one. The next morning I was second in the queue when it opened and went straight to the shelves and there were none of those sets left and there was noticeably less stock generally. So, I assume they either have first pick or perhaps have to send the nicest stuff elsewhere. I won't bother going this year as there isn't much nice stuff left so I assume it will all be gone by the day.

Thats what I thought, I dont want to go and find all the best stuff has gone. Thats if they do actually have the sale but I cannot imagine that they wont, got far too much stuff left.

Hi I'm a newbie too , been watching the thread laughing at how funny it gets in anticipation of the sale !! Does anybody know of stock levels in London ? I went to the Piccadilly circus branch last year at 33 weeks pregnant, and met some fellow forumites so if anyone could post stock levels in and around London it would be highly appreciated :beer:

Hi all does anyone know what the stock levels are like in Maidenhead/Slough ? My local (Reading) does not have much left at all. I'm looking for makeup kits, the FCUK bags that are already 75% off, any Sanctuary stuff. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks !

If i worked for Boots- I do not-I would EXPECT to have 1st pick of sale, i would see that as a perk of the job!! Just because u work for Boots doesn't mean u can't be a bargain hunter!!!

Staff def have first pick of the stock as last year I arrived when store opened and got talking to the cleaner and she had saved herself a lot of stuff she said.
