Boots 75% off sale - possible date

This is the first time in 4 years that I did not attempt the over night on-line party! Mainly because I did not want to scare my bank cards, there was nothing that I absolutely totally needed (:eek:) and if there was anything I wanted that happened to be left in store I could use my points.

Popped into Chesire Oaks at around 2pm this afternoon and was pleasantly suprised to see there were still a fair few bits and pieces left. Spent £15.25 worth of points and managed to get some presents to put away for my nieces who are starting to get into make-up.

They had at least 15 of the £45 GOK sets left, a pile of the strictly sets, loads of Fearne Cotton sets in various sizes, a couple of different elle sets (including the self tan one), bobby pin make-up sets in various sizes, quite a few twinnings tea gift sets (2 types), a half shelf of religion sets with hair stuff and belts in them, subbuteo football flask gift set things, 17 eye sparkle sets for £1 odd (but they were going quick), cute younger girls rucksacks with lipgloss (under £5), piles of the scarlett and thingie (by Ruby & Millie for younger girls) little make up sets, mens Hackett stripe bag sets, Eclipse gift sets (2 types - £3 - £4) and quite a lot of chocolate slabs, sweet gifts and boxes of chocolates. Also the usual Christmas crackers, tags, cards, photo baubles etc. They also had a fair few photo albums and brag books with 75% off too. Only toys were ELC space sets for under £5 and they had a shelf full of them.

Feel like I have just done the generation game :rotfl:!!

Just to let you know there were a lot of the Fearne make up hat boxes in the Boots on Bishopsgate (in the City). They were down to £10. Also quite a few of the Strictly make up cases.

(Hope no one on the giving up toiletry threads reads this. I got the last Gok toiletries set

I'm so shocked. I work part time but always on a Wednesday, so had no hope of getting to a store. Got home after five, went on line and managed to get some lovely make up sets. I didn't think I'd manage to get anything. Wonder if it's worth popping in there after work tomorrow to see if anything's left.

I didn't even attempt online, but did go to store. Was my first 75% sale and was all set to go early, but didn't happen with my LO!! Always the way when you want to be somewhere.

Managed to get in at 12 after her swimmin lesson, thought it would be empty but still quite a lot there. No Gok, sanctuary etc but did get a few bits.

LO has just discovered waybaloo managed to get waterbottle cover (was under shelves!!) And after goin round&round tryin2find something nice for me, decided to get ferne hatbox, no way would paid full price but thought why not!

Unbelievably for me. Have also got most of my birthday prezzies up till june, this is so not like me. Don't normally buy them till the day i'm that disorganised!

Not sure if i'm actually saving though, cos even though its discounted i'm becoming addicted to this site and keep going shopping!
