It wasnt Leeds by anychance? It was exactly as you described above two sides of the aisle with sales stuff and once you were in the aisle there was no way of seeing what was on the shelves or getting out. I was there first thing as well but had little chance to get most of the things due to the scrum! Last year the sale stuff was over two separate aisle so not a concentration of people in one aisle, made me feel quite claustrophobic. They must have moved it all overnight as when I went before It was across a few aisles spread out and I knew where the things I wanted were, was completly thrown as eveything packed up together. Main thing I wanted was the £10 Sanctuary sets could see them in peoples basket but not on the shelves managed to find one without a lid an then found the lid a bit further on so was happy with that.

no it was meadow"HELL" in sheffield!

I got a few bits instore a mens no7 wash set and a white collection set and a fcuk set and a candle but it was a case of grab stuff then see if you wanted it and if not put it back.I really wanted a Gok set and a No7 skin and bodycare set but after trying all day online and everytime it went to the payment page it crashed I gave up.

There was one lady with her husband and while he waited with all the full bags she went up and down the aisles clearing whole sections.she had 11 Gok sets and when a lady nearby asked if could have just 1 as that's all she wanted she started hurling abuse at her.in total they had 16 bags full to the brim.

I just think its such a shame when people have to be that greedy.

It is a shame - but unfortunately you can't rely on folk to be decent about it, and if the stores won't enforce limits then sadly those of us who are normal decent human beings suffer.

I went through all delivery process and got to the card verification entered my details and nothing happened not sure if they've charged my card or not. Have a feeling they have but I cant find a number because the site keeps saying temporarily updating. Anyone else have this problem?? I might just try again and putt card details in

yeah i'm having the same problem, i think it must be that the site just keeps crashing, i hope payment doesn't go thro until final confirmation page, hope so i have put my details in a few times no, trying paypal also as its safer but won't accept that either

Don't give up on the Gok set - I just put 693 in my basket online and could not be bothered to keep going, so there seem to be plenty left.

Anyone know what the Boots returns policy is on these items instore? My wife went a little bit overboard in the shop today and I have suggested she might want to take a few things back if she can.

Not too far away though, your description was exactly like it was in the large Leeds store, maybe the staff from both stores discussed how to put the stock into the smallest space possible and then watch the madness!

I recognised a few people at the front of the que from last year, I expect a few fellow MSEs were there.

Cant believe all the people that turn into monsters when shopping.
I went to my store everyone was having a laugh and a joke. People were telling each other to look at certain things because they were a good price.
No one was grabbing ans throwing everything into their baskets, it was really civilised. I must be one of the lucky ones:)
